Story
Hello everyone! My name is Luna, and I am a pretty brindle Chiweenie with a scruffy coat and a very gentle demeanor. I am about 2 years old, weigh 12.6 lbs, and I’m a mama dog, dumped with my little black puppy on the side of a road in Von Ormy, Texas. Life is rough for dogs in Texas, and when a lady pulled over to pick us up, we couldn't have been happier. I am now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and happy, and ready to find my future. My foster mom says I’m a sweet little soul, very easygoing, mellow, peaceful, calm, a polite little lady for sure. I am great with other dogs and humans of all ages, and when I met my foster mom’s little niece yesterday, I greeted her with some kisses. I am playful with my puppy, Lulu, and I am just starting to play with another little foster dog who lives here. I have no idea what dog toys are about, so perhaps I’ve never had any. I am very affectionate, kissy, snuggly, and will cuddle up beside your head whenever you lie down. I am very well-behaved, housebroken, just learned how to use a doggy door, and barking is not my thing, so I’ve never done it. I am good on a leash, but I will be hesitant when lots of big dogs are barking. I adapt easily to new situations, am easy to love and easy to live with, so inquire about me today! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Story
This poor little guy was found stray with a broken leg. It has been surgically repaired, and he is healing well. He is a very nice little dog, thought to be around 18 years old but has spirit and love to give. He is quiet and clean and would be a great senior dog for someone who wants to help. And he sees and hears and loves to explore.

These pups are in Middletown, Connecticut too!

She’s doing amazing and making great progress on her journey to find her forever home.   **Chewing Improvement**: We’re still working on the chewing, but she’s adjusting well to her chew toys. **Potty Progress**: Nelly is going in and out to potty regularly, though she sometimes uses a puppy pad if she can't wait. **Yard Adventures**: While she’s still a bit hesitant to come back inside from the yard, she’s getting much better at going out by us! **Growing Affection**: Nelly has started to play more and loves coming up for cuddles when we’re sitting down. She’s a little nervous when we stand, but her curiosity is growing, and she’s starting to explore what we’re up to instead of just scurrying away. **Response to Name**: She’s also beginning to respond well to her name, which is such a wonderful sign! **Excited Greetings**: Nelly is now the first to greet us at the door with tail wags and excitement when we come home—it's the best welcome ever! **Couch Snuggles**: She’s getting big on couch snuggles too!   Nelly is a sweet girl with so much love to give, and I know the perfect family is out there waiting for her. Story
Jackie, a Chihuahua mix, is about 6 years old and full of energy! He's got zoomies for days and loves to play. He can be a little shy at times but is an absolute sweetheart. He's always lived with other (small) dogs, but unfortunately he doesn't get along well with cats. He's had limited interactions with children but seems to be okay with them. He's trained to use puppy pads inside. He loves to play catch--you will tire out before he does! Since he's always been with other dogs, it would be best if he could have a companion, but it's not necessary. Current home is Middletown, CT.

Story
Dr. Peanut is looking for his next home. He's a lover, and full of personality and emotion! While he prefers a slower life most of the time, he still has lots of energy. He's lived with other dogs for the last 6 years and gets along well with others, but he would be just as happy as an only child too. Small children can be a little scary to him, so he's probably best in a home free from small children. Peanut is full of personality and will take all of the love and attention you can offer! He's currently living in Middletown, CT.
