Story
Bambi is one of the sweetest and most kind dogs I have ever found on the streets. She is a stray from around Covid time and adjusted super quickly. She gets her spurts of the zoomies every now and again but will cuddle on the couch or run around outside, whatever her person is doing so is she. She is house trained, have not had accidents since she’s been with us and it’s been since 2023. She gets along with our older male but does not like our small female, possibly just a hunting type dog with those instincts to hold down and our dog is not okay with that. Really just want a loving home for her, best with no other dogs but could maybe do a chill male companion. Safe and loving home only!

Gigi is a feisty 5 year old Chihuahua who weighs 5.4 lbs. She is a little fearful of new people and can be a bit nippy until she warms up. It took just 2 weeks in her foster home before she was able to be picked up and handled. The best way to win her over is with food. She’s very food motivated. She is the type that fiercely bonds to her person. Once she does, she is a faithful & loving little companion. Gigi does best with other small dogs & would likely be ok with cats. She is not suitable for children under the age of 15. She is not 100% potty trained but with consistency & patience she has improved in her foster home. Gigi is spayed, microchipped & UTD on vaccines. Requirements to adopt Gigi: * Must be patient & allow her proper time to acclimate * Fenced yard is ideal. If no fenced yard must use pee pads only until she’s able to be handled. She will not allow leashing until she trusts her new person * No kids under age 15 living in the home * No dogs over 20lbs If you’re a Chihuahua lover and want to give Gigi a furever home email us at Lovetotherescueinc@gmail.com Gigi is fostered in Wesley Chapel, FL. She was my parent’s dog, my mom died this past February and my dad has dementia so she ended up with me. I have been looking for a home but have been unsuccessful. She is sweet, playful, protective of toys and treats. Very easy to care for, a little spoiled by my mom and dad. She likes walks but is ok not to walk as well!
