Meet Chance – So Full of Hope Abandoned, suffering, and covered in horrible mange... all Chance hoped for was someone to care. Imagine being just a year old, all alone in the world, with no warm bed, no gentle touch, and no one to comfort you when your little body is hurting. Chance didn't understand why he had been abandoned. He only knew he was suffering and needed someone to give him a chance. Thankfully, someone finally did. When Chance was found, he was suffering from horrible mange, and his poor skin needed serious care. It's heartbreaking to think about what this tiny boy endured all alone. But his story didn't end in sadness. He was rescued, received the care he desperately needed, and began his journey toward a happier life. This precious 12-pound boy is steadily healing, and although his skin will continue to recover, his sweet spirit is already shining. Despite everything he's endured, Chance has blossomed into the most wonderful little love bug! We're guessing he's a Chiweenie and Jack Russell Terrier mix, but whatever his mix, he's 12 pounds of pure sweetness! He loves other dogs, cats, and kids, and he's ready to fill a home with happiness. Now, Chance needs one more miracle: a forever family. He deserves to know what it's like to be someone's beloved little companion. To curl up in a cozy bed, receive endless belly rubs, and wake up every morning knowing he's safe and loved. Poor little Tater. He was surrendered to a shelter in North Florida an transported to our rescue. He was adopted for less than a month until her adopter injured her leg causing her to be unable to care for him so she recently returned him. Now Tater Tot is afraid that he'll be abandoned so he follows his foster mom everywhere. This little 10 lb, 10 year old dog a ts like a puppy when leashed for a walk so his "pulling on the leash" is something that we're working on. Due to cataracts, he has some vision loss. Tater Tot has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He's current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Tater's adoption fee is $50. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the dogs that fall under our care. Please be patient our rescue consists of all volunteers. ADOPTED! ATTENTION.. The adoption donation we have for each dog allows us to continue to save animals, without it we could not continue to save the animals. Our rescue gets very little donations and we are not federally funded like most shelters. We get every dog spayed or neutered, all shots, rabies dapp, bordatella, microchip, dewormed, heartworm tested, up to date on heartworm/flea preventatives, vet exam, dental and surgeries including emergencies if needed. All adoptions also include dog food, harness, leash, 30 days health insurance, lifetime training tips and low cost cageless boarding based on availability. We are now accepting applications on Lola. We rescued this beautiful sweet young puppy after her owner could not take care of her anymore. Lola was not the right fit in their home. Lola was fearful when we first brought her into our rescue. Our foster reports she loves him now, but she will need time to decompress. Lola has not had a stable home being so young and being born just Jan 2022! She will need that perfect match to work out. Lola is only 13 months old is a fawn color 10 lb female Chihuahua mix probably Chiweenie! Chihuahua dachshund mix!!. Lola is beautiful and just craves your love! Once she trusts you Lola follows you everywhere. Lola is spayed, up to date on all shots, and heartworm and flea and tick preventatives, dewormed and microchipped! We even had bloodwork done and she is in great health. We do want an experienced dog owner who will be committed to Lola and allow her to decompress. Lola's adoption donation is only 400.00! She also loves to cuddle, take long naps with you and go for walks. She is an awesome dog and you will love her! Lola is a very pretty 18 month old white female Chihuahua mix. Lola weighs about 12lbs. She is spayed, up to date on all her shots, heartworm flea preventatives, dewormed and microchipped!  Please only apply if you are willing to be patient and let her decompress.  Lola is a wonderful and playful sweet girl! Nash is an 8yr old male chi mix that weighs 12 lbs.  He was rescued from a high- kill shelter and is very grateful for the help he has received.  He is skittish until he becomes very familiar with you and is not recommended for children.  He is neither crate nor house trained. He walks well on a leash and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He has been neutered, current  on all vaccines including  rabies  and bordetella,  heartworm and fecal negative and microchipped. He has been started on a monthly heartworm and flea preventative.  All dogs shed and he is not recommended for anyone suffering with allergies.  Adoption Donation:$200.00 ADOPTION PROCESS: ***Please be advised you must live in or near the Tampa area and be able to provide an established veterinary reference to adopt from our organization and no children under 6 years please.  Preference is given to homeowners and with some breeds we will not consider renters of any type. 1.  Submit an online application at www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org.  It can take 3 - 7 days to process an application.  Please notify your vet's office that we may be contacting them and to release information to us. 2.
