Meet Drey, the most adorable bundle of joy just waiting to become your new best friend! While he may take a little time to warm up, once he does, you'll discover the sweetest little guy you could ever imagine. Drey's past is a bit of a mystery, and we can only guess at what might have caused his initial hesitation around new people. It's heartbreaking to think about what he might have experienced, especially considering he had a tough encounter with animal control who had to use a catch pole to rescue him. That experience likely added to his trauma. But here's the good news: Drey is making fantastic progress! He's already crate trained and is doing wonderfully on a leash. We're still working on getting him to go potty while on a leash, as he's more comfortable doing his business in our securely fenced 6-foot wood yard. When he needs to go, he'll politely let you know with a few barks or howls. Drey has a playful side that's simply irresistible. He absolutely adores toys, and watching him play with them is an absolute delight! In our commitment to find the best possible homes for our animals, we believe there are a couple of key factors that will help Drey thrive: no young human kiddos in the household and a fenced-in yard. These conditions will set Drey up for success and happiness in his new home. Don't let his initial shyness deter you – Drey is a hidden gem waiting to shine in a loving and patient forever home. Oh hi there! Would you like some kisses? I give them out for free! Oh my goodness where are my manners… I’m Taeya, or TeeTee, and I’d love to be your best friend! I’m a top 10 cuddler, excellent hugger, and pro licker – need I say more?! I’m the type of dog who loves to be with my humans the most, but if there are squeaky toys around I’ll entertain myself with those for hours. I am kind of a little bossy with other animals… I don’t like cats and dogs who come on strong, so slow intros are best, and fully expect that it’ll be a few weeks before I’m not so cranky with them. I’ve met children and love them just as much as the big humans because they seem to love my kisses a lot. I’m a quiet dog for the most part so I totally can live in an apartment, I only growl and bark a little bit when I hear strange noises outside, or sometimes when other dogs start woofing it up. I’m pretty good on potty training, I have had a few accidents here and there when foster mom got distracted so not my fault! I keep my crate clean and will sleep in there overnight if you’d like, but I love sleeping with you under the covers. My fur is so short that I really like wearing sweaters, I do get cold easily. I’m a happy girl really! At 5 years young I still have plenty of pep in my step, and I’m totally ready to paint the town with you, snuggle up under a blanket on the couch, or toss around some toys while you clean up after me  so lets do this thing and live like there’s no tomorrow together! ##1979721##

Oh hello! My name is Diva and while it describes my personality as I would definitely enjoy being carried around in a handbag, my foster family is calling me Georgia. But as long as they accept my diva personality they can call me what they want!  You're probably wondering what else qualifies me to have a diva personality. Well let me enlighten you! I can co-exist with other dogs in a home just fine because my itty bitty five pound self can hold my own. My foster momma says I can even be a little bossy to the other dogs if they don't give me what I want like the humans' lap. I also love to be front and center and have the attention of all the humans. However, I can be overwhelemed with too much activity in the house so no small, sticky, stinky kids please only the taller, calmer teenagers please!  Beyond my sparkling, adorable diva-ness I am also housebroken and will go potty outside but if you leave a potty pad down I will use it if I need to. I do not currently use a crate in my foster home and have been trusted to roam free as the queen should, obviously! I can be a little shy at first but it doesn't take long before my big bold personality and wagging tail make an appearance. I don't bark much, it's not ladylike, but will use my voice if I need to with the other dogs.  So far in my foster home I have found a handful of activities that keep me busy during the day. These activities include, but are not limited to, sitting for treats like a little prairie dog, exploring the outdoors in style, sunbathing in the warm sunshine, delicious little soft treats, massages and scratches because who doesn't, and giving lots of kisses! If I seem like your kind of girl and you are ready for a super sweet, cuddly, lap warmer please submit an application so my foster family can take me for ride to meet you! ##2017794##
