Story
Jarvis is a little lovebug with the best personality packed into a tiny body. He is expected to stay small and mostly just wants to be loved, included, and close to his people.
He is definitely a velcro dog. He loves being held, cuddling on the couch, and would strongly prefer to sleep in your bed, ideally tucked under the covers. That said, he is also perfectly happy entertaining himself. His foster works from home, and Jarvis will often settle on the dog bed in the corner with a bone or chew toy, popping over every so often for a quick snuggle.
Jarvis has never met a stranger. When neighbors walk by, he runs over to greet them and see if they might be willing to provide some belly rubs. He is great with kids and loves other dogs, especially small to medium-sized ones.
He is curious about absolutely everything and loves to explore, but he never wants to wander too far from his people. He loves fetch and is learning to bring his ball back, has the most adorable zoomies, and is a big fan of chew toys, especially pig ears. He also loves puzzle toys and catches on quickly. He is one smart little guy!
Jarvis is very food motivated and eager to please, which makes training easy. He already knows “come” and “sit,” and he is learning to walk on a leash.
Potty training is going really well, with only three accidents in the past five days. He also does great in his crate when his foster family needs to run errands.
He is generally a very quiet puppy and not much of a barker, unless his foster brother has a toy Jarvis has decided should obviously be his.
Jarvis is affectionate, curious, funny, smart, and incredibly sweet. He would love a family that wants a little shadow to join them for adventures, curl up nearby while they work, and sneak under the covers when it is time for bed.
Jarvis is estimated to be 10 weeks old and 6 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, and have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
