Marlo is a 5ish year old Chiweenie. He’s a very good boy, knows some commands. He loves his bed and sleeping under his blanket. He can walk with a harness, but not on his collar. He does good getting his nails trimmed. Completely house trained. Currently lives with cats, and doesn’t chase them. He loves dogs and people. He does have some allergies, not sure to what, but he takes meds for it. He’s pretty chill, has about 15-20 minutes a day when he wants to play, he loves walks. Loves snuggles and tummy scratches!

I have had little bear since she was only 6 weeks old. She looked like a little polar bear so thats what we named her. I worked 13 hr night shifts raising 1 kid with several dogs and little bear is MY dog. Not the kids mine. Shes the best hunter of flys, mosquitoes, spiders, and any kind of bug she sees. She catches and leaves never to see that bug again. She handles it out if sight.. weird right? On the hunt every morning noon and night I let her out and she gracefully jumps the 4 foot fence even tho shes only 12 lbs and she runs the whole 2.5 achres from 1 end to the other looking for anything if she can chase. . Skunk. (Never been sprayed) shes fast! Racoon. Never been bitten. Shes fast,! And when she sees a chicken ...you say no no little bear and she comes right back and smiles that cheesy grin! Oh shes such a good girl. But I have to rehome her and ,I would love visits if possible. ! Im crying writing this. Story to continue.. ok i need more room.

Cody is a sweet darling boy who just joined OFOSA through no fault of his own. He is about 4 years old, and 15 lbs. Walks well on a leash; very responsive to his name. He`s a little bit of a `choosy` eater. Much prefers wet food of any sort to kibble. He`s quite friendly to other dogs, (tends to shrink from pushy dogs and stand behind the human), mostly ignores cats, and is allegedly good with kids. He prefers sleeping on foster moms bed. Loves to sit on your lap and watch TV. His one `challenge` is that he has quite a loud sharp bark. Luckily he doesn`t use it much. Cody should fit well into anyone`s household. Maybe yours? Meet Aspen, a chihuahua who may have some terrier in her. She loves people, although she takes a little time to warm up to them.  Aspen still has a bit of puppy in her, but is toilet trained, and good at letting you know if she needs to go.  As a young dog, Just 1 year old, she is still working on following commands.  She is fairly good at going into her crate, walking on a leash, and will come when called.  Sit, stay, and heel are a bit hit or miss.   She’s also learning to live with cats.  She can be nice and sit with them, but if the cat runs, she wants to chase.    Did I mention that she loves people?  She does best when she’s around humans and loves to cuddle.  She may whine for a bit when left alone.   As a young dog, if she is bored, she might shred some of your stuff.  She’s a very sweet dog, even if she does misbehave sometimes, and she’d love for you to adopt her!
