Meet Sushi 🤍 Sushi was surrendered to our rescue after coming from a very bad situation. He arrived with a gash on his head and a deep fear of men, carrying fear and uncertainty that no dog should ever have to live with. Despite his past, Sushi has slowly started to blossom into the sweetest little goofy chiweenie with such a loving personality. He can be a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, he truly enjoys being loved on, pampered, and treated like the little prince he is. Sushi has never truly known what it means to be part of a family. While he is very loved here at the rescue, he would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can finally receive the consistent love and attention he deserves. He does well with other dogs and is also great with cats. Underneath his timid beginning is a dog who just wants comfort, safety, and someone to finally show him what forever feels like. ❤️

She was born some time in early 2022. We named her Penelope, although we never wound up calling her that. She goes by Pup Pup. She is a very sweet dog, very loving. She generally does well around cats and dogs, is very curious. She is half weenie half chihuahua, and has a very hilarious derpy personality. Loves to play, loves affection, loves to sleep. I really hate to part with her, but we have a new pregnancy and cannot financially juggle her care with the growing needs of our family. She needs to be seen by a vet for checkup and vaccinations. I will answer any questions!

Kaiser was given to me by a friend when he was 8 1/2 weeks old and he will be 10 years old on July 30, 2026. I have had him the whole time. He went directly to the Vet from pickup. That was at the Bannfield location in PetsMart on the West Loop. They did both his neutering and chipping over the next few weeks. He was taken to Meadow Lake Pet resort and spa, in Pearland, Tx, where he stayed for several weeks of training. He received disciplinary training and how to interact with other animals, primarily other dogs. Afterward, he used to go to their location of Richmond Avenue weekly for Doggy Day Care. He always loved going there. Kaiser was loved by all their attendants. No problems with any of the other dogs of any size. I had to move into a retirement community about 7 years ago and he moved here with. He is very loved by the other residents. But, i have to take care of his needs and food and i am nearly 73 and it has become too much for me alone. Well behaved

Chase is a very very laid-back dog. He's sweet as can be and his house and crate trained. He's been a part of a pack for a while but he prefers solitude and it's better for him to have a house and a family where he's the only dog. Chase is very low maintenance. He's very peaceful. If you're looking for a dog who just wants to chill and vibe with you, that is definitely Chase. He was viciously attacked by a stray dog in the neighborhood a year ago. Since then he is very afraid of other dogs. His favorite thing to do is bird watching and bird chasing. Very loving, very loving, very obedient

Bandit is a loving boy! He loves attention and snuggles. He is very loyal and loves his belly rubs. He spends his time sunbathing in the spring/ summer and for winter is still curious about snow. He does have some anxiety since I had originally adopted him from the shelter. He was a little more on the aggressive side when I first got him but has since opened up. He loves moms and dads snuggle sessions but he does have a hard time adapting to changes. I had originally adopted Bandit to be a companion for my 8 year old cocker spaniel. Bruno has since passed and bandit was having a hard time with change. He does well with kids (8 years and older), he doesn’t like to play as much due to age and being considered a senior.

Danny may be low to the ground, but that never stops him from chasing his next adventure. This adorable little dachshund mix is always ready for a road trip and will proudly attempt to launch his short legs into the car all by himself. His favorite place to ride is right up front in the copilot seat, soaking in the scenery, though he politely accepts when he has to cruise from the back. Danny enjoys exploring the world at his own easygoing pace, and at 6–8 years young, he’s the perfect mix of mellow companion and curious traveler.  He likes an occasional hug and gets along wonderfully with other dogs too.  Looking for a travel companion - come meet Danny! ##2697308##
