Story
Shy little one! Meet Maria! Sweet Maria is looking for a special forever home and that just might be you! She’s an adorable 7-pound Chihuahua with a cheerful and upbeat personality. She’s sure to make you laugh and smile! While Maria is a sweetheart, it's important to note that she has a fear of being touched. Despite her gentle nature, Maria struggles with being handled and avoids physical contact. It's something that her foster family has been working on. That said, Maria has recently gone blind out of the blue, so that changes her world quite a bit. One interesting outcome is that she's a little less shy, but we will see how that play out. One of Maria's favorite pastimes is playing with other small dogs, exploring in the yard and sunbathing. When she's not busy playing, Maria chills and hangs out near her people. (She will need a home with a small-dog-proof fence). She would do well in a home with one or more friendly, playful small dogs and one that’s pretty low-key without a lot of people coming in and out. If you already have snuggly pets, Maria’s presence won’t change that. No fighting for your lap! Be a true hero and give this sweet, playful girl her forever home. If you're looking for a small companion with a big heart, consider welcoming Maria into your home! Story
Meet Trilly!: Small dog. Playful. Infinite snuggles. Trilly may have arrived in this world just a few months ago — we think she made her grand entrance around the end of January 2026 ; we’re guessing that she’ll be around 9-10 lbs fully grown. But don't let her little size fool you. This chi-pomeranian-mix charming puppy has already figured out exactly what she wants from life: toys, adventures, laps, and a best friend to share it all with. First things first — can we talk about those spotted legs? Trilly is rocking some seriously adorable markings, has a perpetually wiggly little body, and a curious personalty.. Whether she's playing with you and her toys, boldly exploring somewhere she's never been before or making new friends (dogs and human), Trilly approaches the world with the confidence of a dog ten times her size. Got a toy? Trilly is already interested. This girl loves to play and she loves it even more when you join in. She's the kind of pup who will bring you her favorite toy, look you dead in the eyes, and dare you to try not to smile. Spoiler: you won't be able to. New people? Trilly does best meeting new people if you are holding her. She’s still a little shy around new people but if you let her meet people while your holding her, she’ll warm up to them quickly When Trilly decides it's time to recharge, she has a very specific method: she will locate the nearest human lap, crawl in, and settle down like she has absolutely always lived there. Resistance is futile. You will become her nap spot and you will love every second of it. Underneath her puppy energy and curiosity is a deeply loyal, loving little soul. Trilly isn't just looking for a place to live — she's looking for her best friend. She gives love generously and completely, the way only a dog can. Whether you're a family, a solo adventurer, or anyone in between — if you're looking for a pup who will fill your home with joy, laughter, and unconditional love from the very first day, Trilly is your girl. Could that be you? Story
Meet Brody! He was found as a stray in Connell (Eastern WA) by the police and brought into our rescue. We're hoping to find a foster or adoptive home for him very soon. We're still getting to know Brody, but he's got a lot of personality in that little package. He's not a shy guy and is a happy little dude when he's around people he knows. He also has done well meeting other dogs. Brody can be a little sassy, though, so someone with some dog experience would be helpful. He responds well to a human who leads and seems happy with some boundaries. We are not sure of his exact breed mix - he's a bit of a mystery. His head and compactness says Frenchie while there also seems to be some Chihuahua and perhaps some other breeds in there. He's 100% cute, though!
