FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Odin! Odin is a 2-year-old, 14 lb Chiweenie who is packed with personality, charm, and goofy little dog energy! This fun-loving guy is outgoing, confident, adventurous, and always ready to be part of the action. Odin loves going on walks, exploring with his people, and joining in on daily adventures. He walks well on leash and would thrive in a home that enjoys an active, social lifestyle. Odin is quirky, silly, and affectionate with his people. Once he bonds with you, he bonds deeply and becomes a loyal little sidekick who always wants to be nearby. He does well with other dogs, though he can sometimes put on a bit of a “tough guy” act toward bigger dogs while on leash. With continued structure, guidance, and positive socialization, he’ll continue building confidence and improving his manners in those situations. Odin is looking for a home that will embrace his spunky personality, keep him active and engaged, and give him lots of love and companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet, entertaining little adventure buddy with a big personality, Odin might just be your perfect match! Oden is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. Shy little one! Meet Maria! Sweet Maria is looking for a special forever home and that just might be you! She’s an adorable 7-pound Chihuahua with a cheerful and upbeat personality. She’s sure to make you laugh and smile! While Maria is a sweetheart, it's important to note that she has a fear of being touched. Despite her gentle nature, Maria struggles with being handled and avoids physical contact. It's something that her foster family has been working on. That said, Maria has recently gone blind out of the blue, so that changes her world quite a bit. One interesting outcome is that she's a little less shy, but we will see how that play out. One of Maria's favorite pastimes is playing with other small dogs, exploring in the yard and sunbathing. When she's not busy playing, Maria chills and hangs out near her people. (She will need a home with a small-dog-proof fence). She would do well in a home with one or more friendly, playful small dogs and one that’s pretty low-key without a lot of people coming in and out. My husband and I are moving out of the country for work, so I'm looking for the best forever home for my sweetest boy, Whiskey. Born Feb 2, 2019 (7 years old), I've had him since he was a puppy. He's a gentle "people dog" who loves kids, bonds quickly with family and friends, and has done great around other dogs and cats. He's got happy little excited whines on car rides, classic chihuahua, but at home he's completely settled, a true cuddle bug who wants to be close and part of your routine. Potty trained, fully vaccinated, and I brush his teeth daily. He thrives in a calm, residential setting, apartment or neighborhood. His routine is napping near you while you work, cozy cook & show nights in, and daily walks. If you want a sweet companion who will sleep in, cuddle hard, and happily be your walking partner, message me. This brother and sister pair have had a tough time lately: their longtime owner passed away and they got locked out of the home for several days before a kindly neighbor stepped in and got them to us. Poor things have been through it! Even so, you won't meet a friendlier pair. They are people lovers through and through and will compete for your attention. We don't know much about them otherwise, though we estimate they're about four years old. Their exact breed is anyone's guess. We just know they need a home!
