We first met him when he was wandering on his own, and after a couple of patient weeks of gaining his trust, he let his guard down. And wow, once he did, his tail wouldn't stop wagging. This gentle guy isn't hyper or demanding. He's happiest simply being near his people. He enjoys poking around outside, taking in all the smells, but he's just as content to lounge nearby. Rocco's smart too. He's picking things up quickly. Most of all, he seems grateful for kindness and for a safe spot to just be a dog. He gets very excited about breakfast and dinner and lovesss hugs! FOSTER REASON: I`m looking for a loving foster home while I recover from my entropion surgery! My friends at the SPCA want to make sure my eyes are healing properly, so I`ll need to come back for a recheck with the veterinary team. Chad is a sweetheart. He went to Petsmart with foster mom, and he was friendly with every dog and person he met. Chad is house and crate trained, but the crate is not his favorite place to be. He learned the doggie door on day one, and loves to lay outside, soaking up the sun. Chad is also affectionate and loves to cuddle and be with his person.
