Story
Bailey is a seven year old husky/chow mix. She is very loving, cuddly, and calm but energetic. She is crate, potty, and leash trained. She loves her crate and loves to relax in the typical same spots throughout the house. She is really calm and cuddly and she will like to sit at your feet wherever you are relaxing. Bailey does not bark often unless there is someone knocking at the door. She is overall quiet and calm. We do not have children, but for those that Bailey has been around; she is pretty curious about them. The same goes with other dogs; she is very friendly with them, but on a curious approach before deciding to engage or to play. Bailey has been with our family since 8 weeks old but we are looking to rehome her due to my wife and her current health. We love Bailey so much and we would love for another family to love her just as much be able to provide her all of the rubs and cuddles that she deserves.

Story
Lucy, named because she was found 'on the loose, is a sweet 35 lb. black chow. After being brought in as a stray, Lucy immediately started showing immense love and gratitude to her foster parents. She is 1-2 years old and while she generally has a very calm temperament at home, she loves her play time with her fosters and most importantly, her foster fur sibling. Lucy would do great in a home with other dogs who are interested in having play time.

Lucy is crate and house-trained, but will require some training to get more comfortable walking with a leash. She currently gets very overwhelmed by all the stimulation on walks, and has a hard time staying focused. She would thrive in a house with a backyard as she is very adventurous and loves to explore. Her favorite activity is chasing squirrels and birds, and she could entertain herself for quite some time if she had a backyard of her own.

Whether it is giving you a kiss or hug (which she does often), Lucy looks at you with her big brown eyes and truly makes you feel like the most important person in the world. She may take a little bit of time to warm up to a new person because of what she's been through, but it only takes her a few minutes to get comfortable and be herself. She is so grateful to be taken care of and shown the life she deserves that she will make a fantastic companion in her forever home.

Story
Miss Suki, of North Texas, is seeking a new family. She tells us that she would like an active home as she currently enjoys multiple walks on her average day, currently totaling four miles. She insists the length is not the most important feature to walks, simply the exercise and spending time with her human(s).

She's open to a family of one or many, with adults or older children. She has no prejudice against younger children, simply concerned that she may become overly enthused, but as always training can help with such situations. Miss Suki is also a fan of treats and toys, enjoying a good game of chase.

She has not made a study of 'tricks' or commands, but is open to the idea. Miss Suki has, however, made a study of Pets and Cuddles and greatly enjoys them. Young Miss Suki has also made a study of Leash and Crate skills and is proficient in both, only testing a lead in the presence of bunnies or other prey-looking beings. She may fancy herself a huntress. Observations have also been made that Miss Suki enjoys car rides, taking in the vistas with gusto.

Story
Kristoff is being fostered in TX, and has been waiting for his home! Meet Kristoff (aka Kris, Little Man)! This precious pup is a chow mix, approximately 9 years old. But don’t let his age or blindness (he is blind due to cataracts) fool you, he is a spry, happy go lucky guy who can sure pour on the puppy dog eyes! When he wakes up he will do a happy dance to start the day (whether it is because he is so happy to greet his people or because it is time for breakfast is up for debate) and his joyfulness continues throughout the day (he is equally enthusiastic about bedtime!). Although his happiness abounds, he is mostly an easy going fellow and is content to enjoy the simple pleasures: his meals, leisurely strolls through the yard, chewing a bone, enjoying a cookie and most importantly, being near his people as much as possible. He is a low maintenance boy, doesn’t require a lot of walking and would thrive most in a laid back environment with someone patient, who doesn’t mind talking a lot (your voice will help guide him) and who can give him helpful hints to help him on his way (like “bump” warnings, etc). Kris can become a bit jumpy when scared or unsure, but trusting his people fixes that. The world can be a scary place when you can’t see, but most of the time he takes it in stride. He moves slowly to find his way and needs to build trust so he can feel safe. Luckily he is very smart and a fast learner (he learned how to find and use his foster’s doggy door within a day & lets himself in and out, and quickly learned “sit” and now enthusiastically sits on his own to wait for his meals). He doesn’t always love getting leashed, but he does follow along (happily, once he trusts the person on the other end) and he is definitely not a fan of car rides. Kris gets a little protective over food & treats and will give a warning grumble but he is otherwise ok with other dogs, he just isn’t too interested in them. Unsure about cats or kids. But we all have our things, right? This well behaved boy is content to sit in his room or crate, patiently waiting, and loves a routine that allows for lots of rests and doggy massages on request. The yard is his happy place. And above all else, this fellow is a pure joy to be around. If you have the time and patience to help this little man navigate the world, you will soon realize that you are very blessed to have this bundle of love by your side! The one thing I’d want people to know about him is this: Kristoff is the embodiment of Happiness! This little man is filled with joy in everything he does. His tail waggle is ever present and he does a happy dance regularly. He truly is a joy and just wants to be where you are. Initially he wasn’t loosing much fur because he was saving it up for his full-blown fur blowing event! Not only is he blowing his undercoat, but he is loosing all of his outer fur - the likes of which I’ve never seen. 😂 I don’t want to mislead anyone…he definitely sheds!

Story
Osa was born at home to my neighbors Chow Chow's. She is 5 months old now. She's such a good puppy and is so playful!!! Unfortunately, due to relocating on such short notice and her breed not allowed where I'm going, I am finding myself having to rehome her. She has been around other dogs and has done well. Sometimes she does get a little too excited that it may become a little aggressive. But not in a bad way. She does know sit, and is semi house trained. She has accidents here and there. She such a beauty, I just want her to go to a great family that will have more time for her than I can due to work. She has not had her shots yet and is not microchipped, so she will need that. I have a cage, toys and food that will/can go with her new family.

These pups are in Plano, Texas too!
