Coco is a sweet, sassy granny dog who 'shakes' like she's spiking a volleyball. Other than that she's very gentle and still very playful. Her front teeth are almost completely ground down from living on the streets her whole life. She also has a big independence streak and has not come around to the idea of leashes. That being said she is a cuddle bug who will always be happy to see you and gives big wet kisses. She also has an adorable underbite which makes for some amazing pics! She loves food and I have let her get chubby to make up for her past. She has a THICK coat, and will need brushing. I hope someone wants this sweet senior and gives her the couch life I cannot.

Meet Nala 🐾 Nala is a playful, affectionate, and gentle soul who’s ready for her next chapter with someone who can give her the time and love she truly deserves. She’s 2years old and has come such a long way since I first got her. When I took her in, she was scared, timid, and clearly had been through some trauma. She was afraid of everything—noises, people, even walking outside. She also had a condition where her eyelashes turned inward, causing her discomfort, but she underwent a successful procedure and is now doing great. With patience, love, and consistency, Nala has blossomed into the sweetest companion. Once she trusts you, she’s incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than going for long walks and taking her time enjoying her treats. She’s obedient, attentive, and responds well to commands.It breaks my heart to say this, but due to changes in my work schedule, I’m no longer home as much as I used to be. Nala thrives on attention and companionship.

She’s learning quickly how to interact with other dogs, and it’s a joy to see her enthusiasm for play, especially with her foster's pack. Around people, she’s nothing but affectionate and eager to connect. While Tikka has a few quirks, they’re nothing she can’t handle. She’s wary of men, but each day brings small victories as she learns to trust. She has some food-guarding tendencies with dogs (though not with humans), so her foster mom is working on creating a calm and structured environment during mealtime. She’s great on a leash, and her eagerness to please makes her progress both rewarding and exciting to witness. Tikka’s story is one of growth: Her playful personality is shining through as she becomes more confident and socialized. If you would like more information about Coco or are interested in adopting her, please send an email to elizabeth.campbell92@yahoo.com I found Coco at an abandoned house in spring 2023. I had nowhere to take her, so I continued to visit and feed and water her until I had built a shed with a fenced yard. Coco is fixed and up to date on all vaccines. She is heartworm negative. A neighbor of the abandoned house informed me that Coco had been a street dog all her life. She is amazingly friendly and sweet though. She’s a senior girl but she still has A LOT of spunk. Coco is very playful and very loving. She has a hilarious looking underbite and makes the best facial expressions. Her teeth are mostly worn down from her tough life. She has a very thick coat and sheds like the dickens. Her “shake” is like a volleyball spike and she’s ready to show you. I would keep this dog if I could. Coco is a very good girl all around.
