Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Hi, I'm Astro, a 8-year-old Chow/Lab mix. Don't let my serious face fool you, I'm a goofy sweet guy! I like to get to know my people slowly, but once I do I love your pets and scratches and I'll even sit in your lap! I'm very food motivated and guard my food and toys with growls and can be stubborn. I love to go for walks and walk well on a leash. I know lots of commands (sit, stay, up, down, lay down, shake, wait, let's go) and love performing for treats. I was recently in a foster home and here are some of my likes/dislikes that they shared about me… Like: food!, exercise/walks and agility, butt scratches, sleeping in my crate, chewing my toys, watching out the window, music, water, other dogs, comfy beds, getting baths Don't like: brushes, towels and loud trucks Astro would do best as the only dog in a house without kids or other small animals since he can be protective and is strong. He will need a family familiar with protection breeds like chows. Astro is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His fee is $200.

Story
PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES ABOUT ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Archie is a nice medium-sized male chow chow mix at 47 lbs. He is possibly mixed with one of the shepherd breeds like Sheltie or Australian Shepherd, but maybe one of the other Spitz breeds like Eurasier. He ran into trouble when his people left him with a neighbor while they went out of town, and then they never came back. He is 2-3 years old and in good health. He has adjusted nicely to his foster home, which he shares with 3 older children (10, 14 and 16 years old), 2 female dogs and 1 male dog in addition to his foster parents. Archie has been housebroken in his foster home and is socializing nicely with the other dogs there. He definitely has the Chow Chow stand-offish personality when he first meets people, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up to the people he sees every day. Archie is quite affectionate and very playful, so he’ll need a family who will cuddle up to him and give him good exercise. He was allowed to wander in his original home, so he needs a well-fenced yard where he can safely play and relax. He needs a home with people who understand the Chow Chow temperament and are willing to work with him to help him be the best breed ambassador he can be. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, so he’s ready to go to his new loving forever home. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN BELLEVUE, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard 6ft+ - Sturdy/safe crate. - W. Wa and possibly Oregon locations, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Story
*hair blowing in the wind (even though she's indoors)* *unexplained sparkles in the air* *faint heavenly music* Yes, she is me. Chloe. Now that you are blinded by my beauty, let me explain why I am the absolute best girl on the inside too and so deserving of your (and everyone's) undivided adoration. I'm loyal, smart as a whip, and FUN, just to name a few. Unfortunately, I didn't come from the most glamorous beginnings. I was an outdoor doggy with not much interaction from birth and my family also left me behind when they moved. Thus, I wasn't really brought up interacting with you humans or being touched/handled. I've had my quirks while adjusting to being a family dog and will definitely need someone patient and understanding with me. (If you get too touchy right away, I don't like that and will try to protect myself.) However, if you are slow and gain my trust I will HANG on your every move. I have adjusted very quickly in the past with proper introductions to people. Even still, I would probably do best in a home without young children. I'm a lady after all and need time to sniff you out before you get grabby. I am an active girl and love to feel the wind in my hair outdoors too. I run with the speed of light and have a prey drive to sniff out bugs, lizards and more. I also love to play tug of war and fetch with my foster mommy inside. I bounce, bounce, bounce all the time! I am great on leash so walks and hikes would be great for me. Getting my energy out will help me focus on training too. I am very smart and learn quickly, but tend to lose interest if I'm still chock full of go, go, go!! With all of this perfection, all of your pet needs should be fulfilled, right? RIGHT? I hope so because I would do great as an only pet in the home. I have been able to co-exist with dogs at the rescue but I am a bit of a diva in my foster home. I have a domineering personality sometimes and will even mark like a male when I come across another dog's scent in my house. How dare they??? Existing? HERE? (She is otherwise house trained.) Considering that you and I know each other a little better now, you may pet me. Yes, I am very soft, I know. Please keep in mind that I am a Chow/shepherd mix and have hair that will require brushing, maybe even the occasional spa treatment, Swedish massage, 24k gold facials...yeahhhhhhhhhh.... Sorry! I forgot you were here. In all seriousness, once I trust you, I will allow you to brush me out without much fuss. It doesn't need to be daily but I am a rough and tumble kinda gal and can use help keeping my locks flowing and free. I also shed so if I seem to be losing my girlish figure, it's probably just extra hair that needs to be brushed off. I hope you have a strong vacuum. ;) I could go on for days about myself, but I'll stop here. Don't wanna overwhelm you. If you think you are up for the challenge of a total spitfire like me, please feel free to send in an application and foster mommy can tell you more about all of the grandeur that is...CHLOE. Story
Hello, my name is Buster... short for Buster Brown... which seems to fit for me ;) I am a gorgeous color- like when you are painting things in school and you mix the burnt orange in with the brown paint- you get ME!!! I appear to be a Chow mix, my fur is medium length and somewhat fluffy and is so soft!! My face looks square and so KISSABLE!! I am about 70# so not a small boy, I know what I want in life. I have the personality of a goofy boy and smart, independent chow as well in that I LOVE my people, but can be a little reserved until I know I love them!! I came to the pound with horrible injuries to my back end, likely the result of a car accident or a drag accident. My legs were in pretty horrible shape and I was unable to walk for the first couple of days. Now my legs are completely healed over and I have totally forgotten why we are even discussing it!! I have a really strong spirit to have gotten through such awful injuries with the sweet countenance I have. I love my people and am pretty good with other dogs too. I am great in a crate, on a leash, in a house with a mouse too :) (Dr Seuss is my favorite author!!) I am ready for my forever family, I can be a little nervous with people in my face and would really be best with older kids but everyone else is cool!! Look me up and adopt me, you will never regret it- I will make all your dreams come true!! (ok, you will make MINE come true) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
**This pup is currently fostered in HOUSTON TEXAS but is available for adoption via rescue transportation. We provide a zoom call for you to virtually meet your dog prior to adoption** This adorable girl is exactly what her name states, a real gem of a dog. Treasure is around 6 years old, and believed to be a retriever/Chow mix. She is one of the most friendly dogs to other dogs you could ever meet and gets along with almost every one. Treasure loves to play and is a great pup for dogs who can sometimes struggle making friends. She is even used as a tester dog at her doggy day care for introducing new dogs into the environment because of how friendly she is. She is a very tolerant dog and only ever has an issue when one is given to her first. She is never the instigator. She loves people, and enjoys getting cuddles and butt scratches. When she is nervous she will hesitate, but once she gets a treat she warms right up! She loves attention. She will always come up and rest her head on your lap or give you her paw when she wants your time. She will follow you around just to keep company and is always respectful when you ask for space. Treasure is well trained and knows all her basic commands. She knows sit, stay, kennel, down, and shake. She is crate trained, leash trained and Housebroken. She is a fast learner and motivated by all forms of reward including toys treats, and affection. Treasure is also fully vetted meaning she is spayed, up to date on shots, and current on vaccinations/preventions. For more information, contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com for an application!
