She loves people but would not be suitable for a home with children or seniors; she's okay with other dogs. She loves to go on walks and snuggle beside you once you earn her trust. Teddy is a 6-year-old male Cockapoo. My brother got him when he was a puppy. Unfortunately, my brother passed away, and since then our family has been working a lot and hasn’t been able to give him the time and attention he deserves. Teddy has a best friend named Cali, a 9-year-old female Maltipoo, and they’ve been together for years. Because they’re very bonded, we would really prefer that they go to a new home together. Both dogs were originally acquired as puppies and have grown up in a home environment. We’re looking for a loving, stable home where they will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship. Ideally, the new owner would have the time to keep them active, give them affection, and allow them to stay together as they are very attached to each other. Rumi and her brother Rolex entered the Kern County Animal Services system when they were picked up as strays. Rumi is doing well in her foster home, but is definitely a bit shy. She loves men, so that's a good sign. Rumi is very kind and sweet, but will flourish with exposure, training and building her self esteem. She is just a lovely dog and I know you will love her too. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required.
