He walks well on a leash and is ready for his own home. He is almost 1 year and is 16 lbs. He went to the vet today. He was healthy and is ready to go. He grew up in a home with other dogs and children. He is now up to date on vaccines and ready for a home of his own. The only way to meet to adopt a dog is to email us directly at animalprayers@gmail.com and request an application. After that we do ask 24 hour to review. If your application is approved. We will contact you to meet the dog.

She loves her walks and her person and will sit next to you all day long. She would do best as an only dog with a mature adult. Story
Mushu is the cutest dog ever. My wife and I got him from a breeder during Covid. He will be 6 years old this May. He is house trained, potty trained, and crate trained. Unfortunately, we have two very young children that makes it difficult for us to tender to Mushu’s needs. Our oldest really wants to interact with him but it has been difficult and he is nervous/anxious. We just want someone who will adopt him and love him as much as we do. We want what’s best for him and we believe finding him a home with a family that can give him more attention than he’s getting is the answer. My wife works from home and he just lays around her all day while she works. He’s also very good at being home alone for long periods of time.

Little Maisie is such a sweetheart, but it does take time for her to warm up to new people. She had a rough start with the wrong human and carries some trauma from her previous experience. She is doing well now at her foster home but a new home will have to provide some adjustment, patience and structure. She loves people but would not be suitable for a home with children or seniors; she's okay with other dogs. She loves to go on walks and snuggle beside you once you earn her trust. Darla is the sweetest girl, and who could resist that beautiful smile?? She is a healthy, 9 year old Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund mix that ended up here through no fault of her own. Her family was absolutely devasted to give her up, she was a cherished member of the household. She is a great walker, and likes to stop and smell everything. Darla is also a total pro at fetch, she loves it! Does your lap feel empty as you sit on the couch to watch tv? Darla would happily fill that spot and cuddle up to you. She is such a sweetheart, and she truly could not get any cuter! Darla does well with other dogs, but is more interested in human companionship. Corky is a sweet, older gentleman whose previous owner could no longer care for him. They made the difficult decision to bring him to the shelter so that he could receive the care that he needed. This boy needed quite a bit of TLC to get back into tip top shape and be ready for adoption. This boy could hardly see when he came to us because of his overgrown, matted coat and severely dry eyes. His eyes were no longer creating tears, but within a day of medication he was becoming a whole new dog! We were able to get Corky groomed, thanks to the amazing groomers at Soggy Dog in Long Beach. Next came his neuter, dental and removing some moles that needed to go! Corky’s personality has just kept blooming and blooming! He loves people, and gets along with other dogs. Toys have recently been discovered, and he is a big fan! It’s so cute to watch him play. Now that Corky has been cleaned up, vetted and groomed…he is all ready for a home!March 7, 2026, 9:20 pm
