3/22/26- A face everyone can fall over the hills for. This pup and siblings were brought into rescue due to the owner having a notice to reduce the amounts of animals on the property. They are 3 months old and seen the vet today. They were medically cleared vaccinated and dewormed. They are ready to go home. Mom is a small cocker and dad is a toy size poodle. We are adopting out individuallyIf you are ready to adopt. Please send us a direct email at animalprayers@gmail.com. That will be the only way to move forward. Unfortunately all other emails will have to be skipped

Mia Tortilla found her way to The REAL Bark rescue when a trusted friend of ours informed us of her family's inability to keep her. At an estimated age of 8, Mia has shown us that she is a friendly, confident dog who easily acclimates well to new environments, making herself right at home with her new foster family. She loves playing with her toys, enjoys time with her foster brothers and sisters, is great on walks and an easy car rider. At 20 lbs, she would be a great constant companion to her new person or family, can enjoy car rides and hikes, and knows how to be comfortable left at home. Stitch is a beautiful and calm senior cockapoo who is looking for her forever home. She was found running as a stray on July 4th, terrified of the fireworks, and looking for a place to hide. She loves her walks and her person and will sit next to you all day long. She would do best as an only dog with a mature adult. Rumi and her brother Rolex entered the Kern County Animal Services system when they were picked up as strays. Rumi is doing well in her foster home, but is definitely a bit shy. She loves men, so that's a good sign. Rumi is very kind and sweet, but will flourish with exposure, training and building her self esteem. She is just a lovely dog and I know you will love her too. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Little Maisie is such a sweetheart, but it does take time for her to warm up to new people. She had a rough start with the wrong human and carries some trauma from her previous experience. She is doing well now at her foster home but a new home will have to provide some adjustment, patience and structure. She loves people but would not be suitable for a home with children or seniors; she's okay with other dogs. She loves to go on walks and snuggle beside you once you earn her trust.
