They are 3 months old and seen the vet today. They were medically cleared vaccinated and dewormed. They are ready to go home. Mom is a small cocker and dad is a toy size poodle. She is doing well now at her foster home but a new home will have to provide some adjustment, patience and structure. She loves people but would not be suitable for a home with children or seniors; she's okay with other dogs. She loves to go on walks and snuggle beside you once you earn her trust. Rumi and her brother Rolex entered the Kern County Animal Services system when they were picked up as strays. Rumi is doing well in her foster home, but is definitely a bit shy. She loves men, so that's a good sign. Rumi is very kind and sweet, but will flourish with exposure, training and building her self esteem. She is just a lovely dog and I know you will love her too. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Jax is a Rescue dog for my dad after having a stroke as an emotional support dog.Jax isn’t good with little kids, he will bite! He’s tends to get jealous around baby’s/kids, he wants to be in the same room as everyone but needs his own space to be left alone.He does tricks such as sit, lay down, jump, spin & give me paw for treats! He’s really a good dog, & wants to be loved, walked, and given attention. He loves to go on adventures, take walks & play fetch. He’s also a home body, loves to layout and sleep. He is potty trained, & he will scratch the door to communicate he needs to go potty. He can get wild around other dogs & cats, He tries to jump at them. He use to live with 5 other dogs and 4 kids, it’s sure it caused him anxiety. Can bite unfamiliar people if they pursue petting him or getting close to his owner.
