Story
Meet Phil 🕺 Phil is a 21lb, 3yr old Cocker Spaniel. Phil is a sweet guy who gets along with all people(not sure about kids). Phil walks good on a leash, and even knows some basic commands. Phil gets along with other dogs, but can sometimes be a little pushy with play, he responds to correction quickly, so it has not been a problem. Phil would benefit from basic training classes to keep him socialized. Phil is crate trained, micochipped, neutered, vaccinated, and up to date on his rabies vaccine. If you are interested in meeting Phil, please fill out an application located under the contact tab at www.broketailrescue.org.

Story
Meet Ben and Jerry! These two sweet boys are about 5–6 years old and absolutely full of life. They are incredibly playful, affectionate, and love being around people. Ben and Jerry came to us when their previous owner was no longer able to care for them. They are a bonded pair, so we need to find them a forever home where they can stay together—they truly are best friends. They get along well with other dogs, are friendly and social with people. They ride calmly in the car and haven’t shown any negative reactivity. We are thinking that due to their size, they are big boys, that they may have some Labrador in them. We have recently sent in a DNA test, so we shall see. Ben is also a big jumper. He can jump at least 5 feet and could possibly get over a 3-4 foot fence. Ben and Jerry both need a lot of training and need to be in a home, with preferably a couple, that can invest a lot of time and energy in them. They think they are lap dogs so easily jump up in your lap and want to be snuggled. They need some leash training as they will pull you down the street on their walks. Ben and Jerry need a home with a fairly large, secure fenced yard to run and chase balls. Jerry loves his toys and Ben loves to run. Most of all, Ben and Jerry are loving, joyful companions who deserve a safe, happy home where they can continue to thrive—together. If you are interested in Ben and Jerry, please go on our website at norcalcockerrescue.org and fill out an adoption application.
