Story
Precious truly lives up to her name! This very sweet girl was found all alone and abandoned on the street and no one ever claimed her. Precious is practically blind and was covered in fleas. She gets around pretty well in spite of her very limited vision and walks well on a leash with a little guidance. She is also very affectionate and can be described as a velcro dog - just wants to be with her people. Precious is crate trained and if kept on a regular schedule, she is housebroken. This beautiful girl had some hair loss on her back from the fleas but it is slowly growing back now that the fleas are gone. If you are a cocker spaniel lover, please consider adding Precious to your family. She gets along. with everyone - people, other dogs and cats too. She would love to have a soft bed and a loving home to live out her golden years. Precious is about 10 years old and 27 pounds. Please help Precious find herl forever family. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
