Story
Meet Mih!Named after the musical note, Mih is a little melody all her own. This gorgeous girl has the most expressive eyebrows, beautiful coloring, and those classic wavy cocker ears that make her impossible to resist. Her mama is a precious redheaded Cocker Spaniel, and with a music man for a daddy, it's no surprise that Mih was destined to stand out.At just 7.5 weeks old, Mih already has a big personality. She's feisty, confident, and convinced she can run the world all by herself. In fact, she's appointed herself assistant mom, keeping a watchful eye on her siblings, cleaning them, and even reprimanding them when she thinks they're not behaving properly. She's independent, smart, and always eager to know what's going on.Like her siblings, she’s a smart girl who whines to let her people know when it’s time to go potty outside!Like all puppies, Mih is looking for more than a home—she's looking for a lifelong commitment. Her adopter should be prepared to love and care for her not just while she's an adorable baby, but for the next 15+ years. She will need continued socialization, training, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of physical and mental activity to help her grow into a well-rounded adult dog.Mih is seeking a single-family home with a fully fenced yard where she can safely play and explore. She would thrive with an active family that understands the time and dedication puppies require. Because she's always underfoot and likes to be involved in everything her people are doing, a home with individuals who have mobility or balance concerns would not be the best fit.If you're looking for a beautiful, spirited puppy with confidence, charm, and just a touch of bossy big-sister energy, Mih may be the perfect addition to your family. Please note that if you're interested in adopting one, CSRA/SA has additional Puppy Policies that can be found on our website. We believe most pups do best in home that have fenced-in backyards, plenty of socialization with folks that are home more than not (or who have plans for midday potty breaks & playtime), family members who don’t mind tripping over little doggies under their feet, and an adopter who is in it for the long run (now and many years from now!). If you've got questions or want to express interest in one of these, please EMAIL us at woof@austincockerrescue.org As always, adoptions require an approved application which you can find on our website at austincockerrescue.org
