Story
Meet Lucy! This bundle of love is ready to find her forever family! Lucy is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly—she’ll chase a ball with joy (and sometimes brings it back to throw again!), wins every round of tug-of-war with her favorite stuffed toy, and then happily curl up on your lap (or drape herself across you) for a cozy nap.Lucy came into the shelter very underweight and scared, but thanks to regular meals and lots of TLC in her foster home, she is quickly getting back to a healthy weight. She’s already mastered “sit” and “kennel,” and is almost fully house trained. Lucy is a quick learner who seems eager to please and ready to pick up even more commands with ease. She’s been amazing with a 4-year-old child in her foster home, showing a gentle and patient side that makes her a great fit for families. While she can be shy and fearful at first with new people or situations, it’s clear Lucy’s had a rough start and is learning that the world isn’t so scary. Once she feels safe, her sweet, affectionate personality really shines. If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly companion who’s smart, loving, and full of potential, Lucy might just be your perfect match. She’s ready to blossom in a home where she can feel safe, loved, and part of the family.

Story
Hi friends, I’m looking to rehome my dog, Saoirse. She’s 5 years old, healthy, spayed, and very well behaved. In general she’s a laid back, low energy, shy and good natured lady. She is well trained, and loves an off leash walk, paddleboarding, dog parks or a good hike. She does well with cats, adores small dogs and gets along with lower energy big dogs. High energy big dogs could be a good fit, but we would want to practice introductions and really warm them up to one another. She likes respectful kids, and would do really well with a family that had kids, or another pet or two. We are located in South Austin, Travis County, but I’d be happy to meet at a park in the middle if you are further away. I’m asking for a $25 rehoming fee, and the promise that you’ll take her for a dental appointment next year. My phone number is two one four, seven nine seven, six two nine four if you would prefer to text.
