Sunshine has been looking for a home for 278 DAYS!!! Sunshine was found in a storm drain in CA. This was the 3rd time he had ended up in the shelter. This time, his owners didn't want him back and he was going to be euthanized. Sunshine is the life of the party! Pony hopping up and down the yard, any chance he gets. He is a wildly intelligent dog. He is a big fan of other dogs, that are gentle with him. His energy is unlike anything we've ever felt. He's a very special boy. Someone described him as a "new soul" and that connected all the pieces, that's exactly what it feels like! He is almost completely deaf and has some vision impairment, more so affecting him at night. Sunshine has a smaller forebrain and cerebellum than most dogs, causing a slight wobble and unsteady gait. He just looks like he's had a few too many drinks! He's completely self-sufficient and can move and potty on his own. He loves to pickup stuffed animals and toss them around! His disability doesn't get in his way whatsoever! As far as we know, Sunny was born like this. He LOVES napping and being glued on to your lap on the couch. He's the sweetest and quietest boy we've only heard him bark less than 5 times and its the cutest noise you will ever hear. Pics don't do him justice, he's very small and loves to be carried around. Gimbal is a young, energetic guy looking for his new home!Gimbal arrived at the shelter not knowing what a leash was, but with just a little time and patience (and a lot of encouragement), he`s become a walking pro! He may need a little more work with leash training, but he would make a great hiking partner!Gimbal came in with 2 other dogs who he gets along with really well. We don`t know how he is with dogs outside of his siblings, but he seems to want to play when we put others next to him.
