All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.

We are looking for a PERMANENT FOSTER HOME in California for this wonderful bonded pair. What is a permanent foster? It is when you bring an SCR dog into your home and heart for the rest of their precious lives and the rescue covers all the medical bills until they cross the Rainbow Bridge. Katy and Yuan Bao were very loved. But their owners fell on hard times and relinquished them to us. They are both 10-11. Katy is very sweet and lovable. But she is diabetic. This is very easy to manage as it only requires a shot 30 minutes after her breakfast. She walks well on a leash, is quite spry and active for her age. She enjoys playing with toys. She needs to be adopted with Yuan Bao. Can you give these two beauties their perfect home to live out their lives together? We are looking for a PERMANENT FOSTER HOME in California for this wonderful bonded pair. What is a permanent foster? Yuan came in with Katy after they were relinquished by owners who were going through hard times. They were very loved. Yuan is great with people- very very affectionate. He will play with toys, he walks well on a leash. But he is very protective of Katy and his people. At 10-11 years old it was his job to protect her. He will chase down small animals and become extremely protective if he feels Katy or his person is in danger. We do not suggest he is in a home with other animals or small children. He does need to be together with Katy. He is a lover that Katy used as her protector for their life together. If you can give them a home together where Yuan can love you and take care of Katy you will truly be their heroes. Story
It is with a heavy heart and disbelief I am making this post. I am looking for a good home for my 11 month old (Nala). I got Nala at 12 weeks old in from San Diego humane society. I personally house, crate, potty trained her, and socializing with other Dogs. I was in an abusive relationship and had to escape in August and moved to a place that didn’t allow Dogs. Because of this unforeseen move I had to find a foster for her till I could find a place that allowed dogs. The foster home did not take care of her the way I was promised. She was given no rules and free rein for 2 months. Later I found out the lady was acting as if my Dog was her fur baby. Once I moved to my own apartment November 1, 2025 I scooped up Nala and brought her home. Unfortunately the bond I had with her was ruined. She has been misbehaving in ways that I can’t fix. She peed on the couch, rug, many blankets, eaten many blankets and this is a constant struggle.
