This handsome boy was an owner surrender. When they could no longer care for him they gave him up. He was in a home with two kids. Chance LOVES other dogs and is great with people he knows. He is not good with strangers and cannot go to a home that has people coming in and out.    He loves to go for walks, play with squeaky toys, other dogs, and jump in his baby pool for a dip on hot days… Or even cold days.     He can become protective over his home so again we are looking for a 1 to 2 person household who doesn’t mind putting the dog away when guests come over or the pool/lawn man. Please welcome Devo!  Devo is a petite Collie/Shepherd mix who is 6-months-old and weighs approximately 23 pounds.  This little girl has big brown eyes and a smile that will win your heart!  She was rescued from a high kill shelter, lives in gratitude and is now ready to share her positive energy with just the right individual/family!  Devo has all the wonderful puppy energy that anyone could hope for and will need regular exercise and another well-adjusted dog in her life.  She will make a great family dog and does just fine with children and cats.  She is working on her potty and leash training skills. Please remember that puppies are a lot of work and will need continued socialization and training as they grow.  Devo is up to date on her vaccinations and has been dewormed and microchipped. Here is my story: My mama showed up on this lady's doorstep in the desert. She was pregnant with no where to go. Well, the lady did not know she was pregnant until she started to show. She had 8 of us. We are loved by all. We have another stray husky that baby sits us sometimes. She is really great and lets us crawl all over her. Its our foster mom's best guess that our mom is a shepherd collie and dad is unknown. We are true desert mutts. That really is what makes us sweet though. My name is Tucson. I am a 5 year old neutered male Collie Mix. I had a rough start, so I would enjoy a home that will spoil me. I would be so happy if you subscribed to BarkBox. They have really cool toys and treats and every month they have a different theme. I also enjoy strolls around the neighborhood. Tucson came with 6 other dogs named Desiree, Newton, Dorian, Sade, Groot, and Billy from a fellow rescuer. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Nala is a sweet, shy, well behaved 2 yo girl that warms up quickly. She has a striking appearance that shows off her Collie and German Shepard genes beautifully! She was surrendered to the shelter with her housemate Bella because dogs "no longer fit the family lifestyle:".  Ugh!  Tails rescued both dogs from the shelter and both are currently housed in a boarding facility--which has made Nala a bit timid and a little sad, so we want to find her a adoption or foster ASAP!  She can be placed by herself or with her pal Bella.     DUE TO COVID ADOPTIONS ARE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! These amazing ears belong to Poncho Punch, an Australian Cattledog mix. He was born in April 2022. He should be in the 60 pounds size range when done growing. Poncho Punch has a good start on the basics: sit, circle, back, plus working on stay and leave it. He is doing well with recall. He is also house and crate trained. Poncho Punch loves people! He could be a nice family dog, though he may be too much for smaller kids. Poncho is also good with other dogs, especially those who like puppies. Older dogs will find his puppy exuberance to be too much. He needs to learn that it's not ok to get excited and jump on his dog pals. Poncho will be a good traveller. He is working on his leash skills and is good in the car, currently in a crate. Poncho is a love bug. He loves people and wants to please. He will blossom in a home with consistent reinforcement to help make training stick. He would also benefit from a home that gives him his own things to chew on. After all, he is all puppy! Leia is 7 years old and weighs about 30-35 pounds. She is devoted, funny, and loves to play (see the YouTube video). She tends to love one-two-maybe three people and will ask others to leave her alone. She gives all of her love to the one-two who deserve her adoration! Leia is house and crate trained, and knows knows all of her basic commands. She is a fun activity pal, too. Leia is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to come here to meet and adopt. These amazing ears belong to Louie-Bloo Raspberry, an Australian Cattledog mix. He was born in April 2022. He should be in the medium size range when done growing. Louie-Bloo knows a lot already: Sit. Still working on Wait, Leave It, Off, Easy.He also knows some tricks: Kisses. Working on shake, down, high five & catching treats in his mouth. Louie-Bloo is crate trained and mostly house trained. He sleeps nicely all night in his crate without accidents. Louie-Bloo is leery of new folks but, once he knows they are cool, he is cool, too. With his own foster family, he is great with adults and kids alike. He is a typical mouthy pup, so not a fit for small kids. Louie-Bloo is good with the other dogs in the home and respects the pack hierarchy. That said, it's good to monitor his tendency to want to resource guard food. He does live with a cat but still hasnt learned not to tackle the cat. Any home with a cat will require a very dog savvy cat and people who are quite persistent in teaching manners. Louie-Bloo is a fun companion. He does fetch and is working on dropping it. He loves chew toys, balls and rope toys. Rope toys need supervision because he like to cut the threads and eat them. He is great on leash and is already a wonderful walking partner. He is also good in the car. Louie-Bloo is just a cool dude, from the little kink in his tail to his half-flopped ears. He has a sweet personality and loves cuddles. He definitely wants to be a lap dog. Louie-Bloo Raspberry is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Southern CA. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
