He's athletic and enjoys going on long walks or runs, but he's also content with just hanging out and cuddling up with his favorite people. He may be a little independent, but he's also a big softy at heart and can't resist giving kisses to his loved ones. All of our dogs are completely medically vetted and vaccinated, de-wormed, treated with flea & tick prevention medication, 3 & 4DX tested, microchipped and spayed and neutered. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet King &#226&#156&#168 — Your Loyal New Best Friend Hi, I’m King! I’m a 3-year-old Spitz/Collie Shepherd Mix. My rescue says I'm a Mix of love with a big heart and a happy spirit, willing to give and receive lots of love. I had a rough start in life after my human family abandoned me, my mate, and our puppies, but thanks to our rescue, my family is now safe—and I’m ready to leave the past behind and start my best chapter yet. I’m a social, affectionate boy who loves spending time with my people. Walks, car rides, and cozy snuggles are some of my favorite things. I do great with older, considerate kids, get along well with other dogs, and even do fine with cats (as long as they’re friendly too ). If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving companion who will be a loyal sidekick through life, I might be your perfect match. If you live in LA, San Diego County, or surrounding areas and would like to help me on my journey, please apply to foster me at www.tlck9rescue.org &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 1:51 pm

Story
Peter Pan is a handsome, fun, playful 10 week old, 8 lb male Blue Heeler mix puppy ready for his forever home! Like a typical Blue Heeler, Peter is a bit more independent and can be a little shy at first. He loves to play with his siblings, toys and explore the backyard at his foster home. He sleeps at night with his siblings in a puppy pen, and is learning about house training. Peter would really enjoy going to puppy classes with his humans, it's a great way to bond and he is a smart boy that loves to learn new things. His adoption fee is $450 and includes his neuter, microchip and current vaccinations. How this pet arrived: S'mores was brought in by a community member on December 20, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you: Meet S'mores! S'mores is a sweet, toasty treat of a pup - golden, gooey-hearted and full of happy wiggles! This handsome boy is bursting with enthusiasm and would love an active person or family ready for adventure. He's the kind of dog who brings the spark to every day. S'mores isn't a sit-by-the-fire snack - he's more of a hike-the-trails and explore-the-woods kind of guy. Long walks, outdoor fun and learning new skills are his favorite ways to shine. He's still polishing up his manners, so continued training, structure and positive guidance will help him melt into his very best self. S'mores does have a slightly wobbly gait, and while the cause is unknown, we recommend checking in with your veterinarian if you notice any changes or concerns. He'll thrive with patience, consistency and plenty of love. Due to his high excitement, children in the home should be 10 years or older and present for a meet-and-greet. If you're ready for a loyal, lively companion who's equal parts sugar and spark, S'mores is ready to stick by your side - just bring a leash and collar for a safe trip home!Excitable Dog: S'mores requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about him. Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 43.2 Age: 1yrs 0mths 2wks
