We are looking for a PERMANENT FOSTER HOME in California for this wonderful bonded pair. What is a permanent foster? It is when you bring an SCR dog into your home and heart for the rest of their precious lives and the rescue covers all the medical bills until they cross the Rainbow Bridge. Katy and Yuan Bao were very loved. But their owners fell on hard times and relinquished them to us. They are both 10-11. Katy is very sweet and lovable. But she is diabetic. This is very easy to manage as it only requires a shot 30 minutes after her breakfast. She walks well on a leash, is quite spry and active for her age. She enjoys playing with toys. She needs to be adopted with Yuan Bao. Can you give these two beauties their perfect home to live out their lives together? He will chase down small animals and become extremely protective if he feels Katy or his person is in danger. We do not suggest he is in a home with other animals or small children. He does need to be together with Katy. He is a lover that Katy used as her protector for their life together. She loves her walks, enjoys car rides (and even knows how to climb a ladder to get in!), and is great with stairs. This sweet girl is friendly with everyone — dogs, people, kids, and even babies — but she’s not a fan of cats. She adores tummy rubs, chatting with her people, and being part of the action. Sage came to us after her beloved owner passed away, and she’s now ready to find her next forever home filled with love and care. RTIC was apart of a litter of 5 newborns that were found in a field next to their deceased mother. A group of homeless individuals found them and fed them goats milk once a day in hopes and attempts to keep them alive until help could be found. Thankfully their efforts paid off! We were alerted to them on day 4, and went out into the field at night with flashlights looking for the tire they were born in and thankfully we found them! All were alive, kicking and starving! We immediately fed them and brought them into loving foster homes to get the TLC they deserved since they lost their mama so young. RTIC is an adorable Cattle dog mix who we believe will be a large dog estimated got be between 50-75 pounds. He is a very smart puppy, has always been way advanced for his age. ** The adoption fee is a tax-deductible contribution to our 501c3 rescue. This fee covers vaccines, deworming, microchipping, and spaying/neutering. Meet and greets will only be arranged after we receive a completed and signed application. Please note that we do not follow a first-come, first-serve policy. Instead, we thoroughly evaluate each application to ensure the best possible fit for the pet, considering breed characteristics and the lifestyle of the potential adopter.
