Story
Location: Southern CA Hello everyone, I'm Dora-Hope! I'm 4 years old, and I'm a Dalmatian-Border Collie mix being fostered in Palm Springs. I've had some training, and I have come out of my shell and love my foster dad, his friends, going for walks, hanging out in the yard, and keeping an eye on things. But mostly, I love lounging on the sofa. I’m okay with big dogs as long as I’m introduced properly. I enjoy a calm non-chaotic household, where I can find my zen and meditate about how lucky I am to have found my wonderful forever home with you. FUN FACT: I am athletic and would be great at agility training (you know, when I'm not taking a nap on the sofa). Contact info@savethedals.org if you would like more information. Go to www.savethedals.org to complete an adoption/foster application and send it to the same email address at info@savethedals.org

Baby Kirby urgently needs a foster home. Thinking of getting a dog? Why not test drive me. I am sure to be your faithful new best friend that will love you unconditionally forever and ever. Hi my name is Kirby. Some nice folks found me but can't keep me. I am just a baby. The vet says between 8 and 12 weeks old. No one knows what breed mix I am. People have guessed everything from a Miniature Pincher mix to an Australian Kelpie. We believe he is likely a Kelpie or a high content Kelpie mix. Everyone who meets me says who cares what I am. My breed is called Adorable. Take me home and watch me grow into a handsome beauty. I love everyone and everything. I urgently need a foster in California or a forever home. Transport can be arranged. Contact info@savethedals.org if you would like to give me a try. Go to www.savethedals.org to complete an adoption/foster application and send it to the same email address at info@savethedals.org

Story
Tommy was found wandering the streets of Ensenada, dirty, full of ticks, very thin and with mange, but the most shocking thing was the tumor hanging from his groin, approximately 15cm in diameter. At the vet's office it was more feasible to amputate his penis and remove the tumor that was rooted to it, however we made the fight to not have to amputate it, and he was given about 15 chemotherapies so that the tumor reached 4 cm in diameter and could be removed. He only needed 2 more chemo treatments and today he is ready for his new home! He is a VERY loyal, loving dog, and is always by your side, looking for cuddles, affection and loves to be kissed. He is a dog that even though he doesn't get along well with other males, he is good with females and puppies, although sometimes he is a little grumpy, he prefers the tranquility and the company of humans. He always has a scolding face! We guess it's his way of blackmailing us to give him treats, haha. But he is one of the cutest dogs we have in the shelter, he has certainly won our hearts. He is an excellent traveler, he knows perfectly well how to ride in a car, and he loves walks, seeing new places and above all, sleeping in a big bed at the end of the day. The $400.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transportation to San Diego,Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.
