I’ve had Sybil for a while now, which is OK with me as she is my best and easiest dog in the kennel. But, she is ready for her forever home and her forever person. She was a bit of a challenge when I got her, but she has recovered and then some. I did do a fair amount of training work with her, she is a easy student and a very quick study. She loves being out in her yard seeing the world, barking at deer, romping w/the other dogs when we go by on our walks and most of all, hunting mice. Which is a bit annoying as she does create some good holes. Sybil is good on a leash and I enjoy our walks together. She’s an energetic dog, but not a hyper dog. She is the only dog in my kennel not to bark when i walk the other dogs. She calmly waits for her turn. Sybil is independent, but also loves her person and will be a dedicated dog. She likes people but seems to meet women better than men. Which isn’t unusual. She also does well with other dogs with a proper introduction. She does seem to be choosey though, likes and dislikes dogs for reason I can’t understand. Sybil isn’t an anybody dog. She is very smart and needs someone who is a bit dog savvy and will be the alpha leader. Being the alpha leader is not a physical thing, it’s how you think, your attitude, and demeanor. She’s an awesome dog. And she would like her forever home. If that someone is you and you would like to meet her.

Miss Blanche and her three "Golden Girl" sisters were found running stray in the middle of no where. They all have docked tails and we believe they are mostly Mini Australian Shepherd. No one claimed them and they were pretty skinny and scared. They are coming out of their shells. The ladies are around 10 months old and would love a home to call their own. We suggest no young kiddos under 10 years for these ladies. ##2859683##

Ash is a sweet young boy, just under a year old, who loves everyone he meets! He’s great with other dogs and rides comfortably in a crate in the car. Smart and highly motivated by treats, he’s ready to learn and should be lots of fun to train. Ash was found as a stray in Southern Indiana alongside Salem and Binx. The shelter believes they may be littermates who were abandoned by their previous owner. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kip is a young and petite Border Collie who is with the Central Texas Ruffugees rescue in Austin TX.  The rescue says this about Kip: Kip is about a year old and a petite 35 lbs. She is a really great girl—sweet, affectionate, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She has been around cats and simply ignores them. She is already spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.
