Story
A beautiful update from Sybil's foster :) ------ I've had Sybil for about two months now. She was with a foster who couldn't keep her anymore, so I met her immediately and knew she had a great temperament and was a good dog. It was definitely worth bringing her home and working with her. I have a kennel for the foster dogs, and they all have their own large yard. And man, is she having fun! She loves romping in her yard. She meets the other dogs when I walk them, prancing around as they go by her run. She is one happy dog. She has a good amount of energy but isn't hyper. She is doing great in my kennel. She is pretty good about staying calm and not joining in the barkfest when everyone else is excited. She's great with me and independent, but she likes her pats occasionally. She leans on my leg and sometimes falls over for belly rubs. When I clean her yard, she follows me around. She's not overly demanding, which I appreciate. She's going to make someone a very dedicated and fun friend. She's a good dog and will be even better and more stable when she leaves here. She's worth the effort and will be an excellent companion for some lucky person.

These pups are in Highland, Illinois too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Snickers is a resident in the Campbell County (TN) Animal Center, and the staff at the Center are seeking a foster or permanent home for him, as he is stressed in the shelter environment.   If you are interested in Snickers, please contact the Animal Center through their website or at the phone number given below.  Here is what they say about Snickers, a young BC/Aussie mix: Do you need a little Snickers in your life?? A yummy nougat encased in creamy chocolate to “make you feel you” as the famous advertisement states. This wonderful boy is a Aussie border collie mix. He is approximately 3 years old and weighs 60 pounds. Snickers has the kindest eyes that will melt your heart. To be honest he is struggling in the shelter. Although he is safe, knows he has delicious meals served daily and daily walks he would benefit greatly being in a foster or permanent home. Snickers is a fluffy black and white male, with white front legs and black back legs. He is very smart and is craving to be mentally and physically challenged. His breed mix desires to be trained, given commands and lots of mental stimulus. The shelter is a very loud and is over capacity so he is fearful of his current situation. Each day he improves and when he goes outside for his walks he does a cute little trot of a dance to celebrate. Snickers tail is the short stub that wiggles when he is outside smelling everything Mother Nature has to offer. So what does Snickers need?? A loving patient family that will allow him to relax and trust humans. He would enjoy a bubble bath and a nice brushing to make his black and white coat shine. Snickers is food motivated so his training will be fun and engaging for his new partner. So come in and meet this precious soul and let your heart melt with his sugary sweetness.   The Campbell County Animal Shelter adoption center is open Tuesday - Saturday, 12:00 - 5:30 PM at 749 Towe String Road, Jacksboro, TN 37757   Phone: 423-566-8018   Adoption applications can also be completed online at fccanimals.org  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 2:31 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rambo — An Amazing Personality in a Handsome Package Age: 1 year, 1 month Location: Plymouth, IN Rambo is a joyful, big-hearted young dog with a truly wonderful personality. He’s goofy, loving, and instantly charming — the kind of dog who makes friends with adults almost immediately and wins hearts without even trying. He’s social with other dogs and does great in playgroups at doggy daycare. Rambo reads canine cues well, plays appropriately, and enjoys being part of the fun. A true ball dog and water lover, Rambo is always ready for playtime. He’s also learned how to entertain himself nicely — give him toys, a bone, or a chew, and he’ll happily focus on that, content to play on his own. Like many young dogs, he may chew toys that aren’t his if given the chance, so durable chews and hard toys are his favorites. Despite his playful energy, Rambo has a great off-switch. When it’s time to relax, he’s right there beside you — curled up on the couch, leaning in close, and soaking up all the cuddles. He’s truly a big cuddle bug. Rambo walks nicely on a leash, has excellent recall to his name, and is fully crate trained — he even runs to his crate at mealtime. He’s completed 8 weeks of basic puppy classes and continues building great manners through regular doggy daycare. Rambo is great with adults and has been selective with kids, so he’ll do best in a home that understands puppy boundaries and can provide calm, positive interactions. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate young dog with an amazing personality — one who can play hard, settle easily, and be your loyal sidekick — Rambo is ready for a fresh start in a forever home. Sweet, playful, and impossible not to love. Interested in Rambo? Contact cripecasey@gmail.com with any questions or complete an adoption application at www.comebyebcrescue.org. Application fee will be refunded if it’s determined by the foster parent that it’s not a good match and the application is not processed.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 2:31 pm

What makes Ellen special Sweet & Loyal: Ellen loves to follow her people everywhere, always eager to be part of whatever you’re doing. Dog-Friendly: She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making her a great fit for multi-pet households. Affectionate Companion: Ellen adores giving kisses, rubbing against her humans, and soaking up massages around her neck and face. Couch Potato or Shadow: Left alone, she’s happy to relax quietly, but she’ll also trail you from room to room to keep you in sight. Family-Friendly: Ellen loves everyone—including children—and greets new people with friendliness. Low Energy: Due to age, she’s calm and easygoing, with modest exercise needs.
