Story
i I’m Raiden. I’m a 3 year old, neutered 35 pound Shepherd mix. I’m housetrained. I’m crate trained. I like kids and adults. I can get excited when first meeting. After that you do your thing, I’ll do mine. Cats are a no-no. Dogs, I love all sizes. I live with dogs from 15 pounds up to 60 pounds. I really like to follow the leader, if the dog wants to play I can play with the best. If the dog is more chill, I can chill and snuggle with you. Raiden’s adoption fee is $295. If you’re looking for a fun loving guy & are interested in meeting Raiden, then using the menu at the top of the page, click on Adoption Application. Complete & submit your application, which will serve as the basis for a conversation, & you will be contacted. We will make arrangements to meet with prospective adopters for Raiden only after a submitted application has been reviewed & a phone conversation has taken place. ***Please note that we are a foster based group located in the southern suburbs of Chicago. Raiden’s adopter must live in the greater Chicago metropolitan area.***

Story
Bo Peep and Woody were found as strays together, very scared. It took a few days for them to realize we’re all ok here, but they always looked to each other for comfort. We’re hoping these 2 can stay together in their forever home. They are both very sweet and adorable! We don’t recommend small kids in their new home since they came in so scared.

Penny Lane may be an older girl, but you would never guess her age by watching her happily play in the yard! She enjoys her time outdoors and is a wonderful walking companion. Penny has also lived with both dogs and cats.Penny Lane is a very shy girl who will need a special person with experience and understanding of shy dogs. She will benefit from multiple visits to get to know her future family and an adopter who understands the importance of patiently helping a shy dog adjust to a new home. Penny has made progress with some of our volunteers, and we are so proud of her!Penny Lane has so much to offer the right person. She simply needs someone willing to give her the time, patience, and kindness she deserves to feel safe and learn to trust. Mars is at our Bucktown Adoption Center (2144 N. Wood St.) Stop by anytime during open hours to meet her! This fun pup is spayed and fully healthy! She is up to date on vaccines. She is also microchipped! 💧 Working on Housebreaking: Making progress with a consistent schedule and positive reinforcement. 🏠 Mostly Crate Trained: Familiar with a crate and does well for short periods, but may need time to adjust in a new home. 🚶 Mostly Leash Trained: Has good leash manners but may occasionally pull towards dogs or critters 🐶 Dog Friendly: Gets along with other dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion. 😺 Cat-friendly - Not sure, she hasn't met cats with us yet! Slow intro required if adopted into a home with a cat. 🧒 Has not met kids yet while in our care, but is likely not a match for young children due to her size and exuberance Mars is a sweet, goofy, playful girl with brains to match her boundless energy! She loves making friends with anyone who will play with her and is a dream to train thanks to her smarts and love of treats. Mars is always ready to keep you laughing and she’d be a great match for an active adopter looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy. 🧬This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of her actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think she looks like! 💰 Mars' adoption fee is $300 and she can't wait to meet you! 🩷 Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/. Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email adopt@onetail.org.
