Story
Meet Tindra! This 11-month-old lab/collie mix is a 35 pounds of pup-tastic playfulness! She is very eager to please and can't wait to be part of your family! Tindra is a bright pup who has the best balance of curiosity and cuddliness. She already knows how to sit and is capable of learning so much more. Tolerant and food-motivated, Tindra was a rockstar for her photo shoot! Her speckled coat is just adorable and look at her in those antlers! She always appreciates a good ear rub and has acclimated well to going in and out of her kennel. As she is still a young lady, Tindra will benefit from continued training, daily exercise and a yard to enjoy in her new home. The family that brings her home has many happy memories to look forward to! Based on our evaluation, we feel Tindra would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages five and up. We feel she has the capacity to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby! If you think she could be the pup for you, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit your application for our terrific Tindra!

Story
Hi my name is Juno! I am a good boy/girl and I am looking for an active owner willing to offer training and exercise, but in return I can offer unconditional love and years of happiness. I do have some big feelings about some things in this world and tend to express this by reacting with barking and may be a bit too much for some families. I will need to continue my training and HSHV offers classes for dogs like me! Visit www.hshv.org for more information.

Story
Mia is a sweet girl that just wants to be loved. She was inherited and I simply do not have the time to ensure she is getting her needs met. She has severe separation anxiety and pretty strong food aggression when other animals are present. She loves attention and will gladly sit in your lap, on you, or be happily carried around. She is a big baby. She is extremely territorial. She is a herding breed and will try to be lead dog if other dogs are around which can lead to fights. She does not like children or cats and can be aggressive towards both. She has an aversion to kennels and will not tolerate dog beds. She is housebroken but can get a little excited. She loves walks and just being around adults. I feel with the right owner, she could be an amazing companion.
