Story
This baby has a magnetic personality and a lifetime of love to give. He is gentle and affectionate, and smart as a whip! He'll be solving algebra problems soon if you let him! He's: * Super sweet and kind * affectionate and cuddly * very friendly * willing to play at the drop of a hat Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. MICHIGAN RESIDENTS—>PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/TAP/2450-michigan-adoption Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications. The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport. Thank you SO MUCH for giving a homeless Arkansas pup a chance at a real life with a family of their very own!

Story
Meet your future best friend, Butter Waffle Dinosaur 🐾✨ This puppy is a perfect bundle of energy, curiosity, and irresistible cuteness—but like all puppies, — is still learning how to be the best dog possible. Continued basic training will be needed, including leash skills, crate training, potty training, and everyday manners. With a growing body and a busy brain, puppies need structure, enrichment, and positive outlets for energy to prevent overstimulation, mouthiness, or the development of unwanted habits. A home committed to consistency, patience, and mental and physical exercise will help — grow into a confident, well-balanced adult dog. With the right foundation, the possibilities are endless! 💛🐶 Due to is this pup's past and noting his breed mix, we are strongly recommending an owner with experience training a herding dog's active mind. • Around 4 months old • Currently 26 lbs. • Good with kids, dogs and cats • Adoption fee: $400 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, preventatives, heartworm testing (if age-appropriate), microchip, and dental cleaning if needed. Future veterinary care will be the adopter’s responsibility.

Meet Bubba & Betty! Bubba and Betty are two of eight adorable Border Collie mix puppies looking for their forever homes! Their mom is a short-haired Border Collie from a farm in Indiana. At just under 9 weeks old, Bubba and Betty are full of puppy energy and ready to start their next adventure with loving families. There are four boys and four girls in the litter, and each one is eager to find a home of their own. All puppies are: * Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations * Dewormed * Happy, healthy, and eating well * Playful, social, and growing every day Adoption Fee: $260 per puppy. Bubba and Betty do not need to be adopted together. These puppies are being fostered in Richmond, Michigan.
