Meet Wrigley! This 52-pound, one-year-old lab/collie mix is the definition of a submissive sweetheart who will capture your heart before you know it! Wrigley is a pup who knows what he likes- and what is likes is snuggling! From the moment you meet him, his attentive and charming personality will have you falling hard. He enjoys melting into you and flopping over for some well-deserved belly rubs. Wrigley knows how to sit and takes his treats gently. As he is still a young man, Wrigley will need daily exercise, continued training, and a yard to enjoy in his new home. He enjoys the company of his kennel mates and could make an excellent pal for your family fur baby. Wrigley is very tolerant and curious boy who will benefit from continued confidence building in his new home. Based on our evaluation, we feel Wrigley would do best in a home with adults or families with kids ages five and up. He may have the potential to live with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. Jinxberry A18855215 lb. spayed female, approx 5 months old -This adorable little babe is still so young and a bit unsure of the world around her. She wasn’t too interested in walking, so I scooped her up and carried her. She was nervous to start, and my squeaker was a little too scary for her, but she did discover toys and started chasing and playing with them!-She enjoys treats and is polite when taking them, even if she fumbles them from your hand a little. She doesn’t know “sit” just yet and seems like she may still be figuring out how to navigate the world around her.-Once she gets comfortable, she enjoys pets and belly rubs and even gives kisses! She’s just an adorable little baby who will need some patience, gentle guidance, and help building her confidence as she grows.-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30, except for Wednesday when we open at 11:30**We ask that if you’re looking to adopt, you arrive before 5:00 to be able to have enough time to meet the dog. **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
