Story
Meet Fiona - a 3-year-old, 45lb Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix who is as smart and athletic as she is loyal. Fiona's story hasn't been easy. She came from a home marked by domestic violence and was facing euthanasia for resource guarding. In a foster home with little handling experience, her guarding continued. But since coming to 12:10 K9 Rescues behavior modification program through Unleashed Freedom K9 Academy, she has made incredible progress. With clear leadership and structure, she has shown us her true potential. What Fiona Brings to the Table: -Work Drive for Days - She LOVES her ball, will launch into the air to catch it, and never seems to tire. -Athletic & Fast - Think Ferrari with fur. This girl was built to move. -Intelligent & Trainable - Picks up shaping quickly, eager to learn, and thrives when given a job. -Food & Toy Motivated - Ideal traits for training and working homes. -Dog Social - Gets along well with balanced dogs, especially those who can keep up with her energy. -Spayed, UTD on vaccinations, healthy, and ready for her next chapter. Fiona needs a confident, experienced handler-someone who can give her structure, channel her drive, and put her intelligence to work. In the wrong home, she's at risk. But in the right home, this girl will be a superstar. If you're interested in giving Fiona the job and home she deserves-or know someone who might be-please reach out and share her story. Let's get this incredible girl the chance she's been waiting for. We're located at 12:10 K9 Rescue, but we are willing to travel or even arrange flights for the perfect placement. We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peaks your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Fill out the application completely. Every question must be answered, and it must be signed.-Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.-You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.-Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). The introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).-We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.-Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Ever wonder if it is even possible for show stopping beauty, an amazing brain, AND a five-star winning personality to come in the same package?! Lucky for you — they do for this sweet girl! Juniper is a treasure of a dog, waiting for her forever home. Just look at those beautiful, bright amber eyes and freckled nose. Juniper is a gorgeous girl and a perfect medium size. She always upbeat and carries a smile on her face. Besides her looks, Juniper is also a very smart, trainable girl. The sky is the limit for her. She’s eager to learn. She’s also pretty athletic so she would be a great running companion. Or maybe you’ve always wanted to try dog sports like agility. Juniper would be perfect! And best of all, Juniper has a very sweet disposition with every person she meets. She craves attention from her people and will be a loyal companion for years to come! She would be perfectly content being an only dog or possibly one other canine companion that suits her fancy. She's doggy selective, and would need a little time to warm up to a new BFF once they know she's in charge of the playtime antics. Juniper is a year or two old, 40-45 lb.

Story
Meet Roxanne! This sweet cattle dog mix is such a cuddle bug! At just four months old, she is already keeping her indoor area clean and goes outside to potty. Roxanne does well with other dogs and cats and loves attention. At this time, she is not a fan of being crated but does well outside of her crate. Roxanne’s current foster says she is absolutely precious and she could just hold her all day long. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Story
Welcome, I'm Eve, a wonderful female dog that was lucky to land myself at PAR! I'm a girl who loves to keep busy, but I also know how to relax and entertain myself with a good toy or bone. One of my favorite things is being close to my people and soaking up all the love and attention while laying my head on your lap. I also love to give many kisses! I can be selective with my doggy friends, but I would love to try to meet a new canine BFF! I do learn very quickly, listen well, and walk nice on leash as I'm a smart girl! Eve is a Cattledog mix, approximately 2 years old, weighs approximately 46 lbs., spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention. House and crated trained. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your heart with joy, come and meet me! I promise to bring a smile to your face and be the best furry friend you could ask for. To get preapproved for adoption, please fill out our application for a meet and greet! https://www.parpets.org/adoption-application.html

Story
Meet this gorgeous 30-lb Australian Shepherd &#226&#156&#168 She’s smart, striking, and full of that classic Aussie energy—and she’s looking for a home that truly understands what she needs to thrive. She currently lives with a foster cat and they are buddies.  This sweet girl is loyal and eager to bond with her people, but like many Australian Shepherds, she needs more than just love. She’ll do best with an adopter who understands the breed: someone who can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, structure, and consistency. A home that enjoys training, outdoor activities, and engaging her sharp mind would be a perfect match. She’s not looking for just any home—she’s looking for the right one. One that will respect her intelligence, meet her needs, and commit to her for life. If you’re familiar with Aussies (or ready to learn) and want a devoted, beautiful companion by your side, she may be the one you’ve been waiting forWe do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support. February 16, 2026, 6:15 am
