Meet Fiona - a 3-year-old, 45lb Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix who is as smart and athletic as she is loyal. Fiona's story hasn't been easy. She came from a home marked by domestic violence and was facing euthanasia for resource guarding. In a foster home with little handling experience, her guarding continued. But since coming to 12:10 K9 Rescues behavior modification program through Unleashed Freedom K9 Academy, she has made incredible progress. With clear leadership and structure, she has shown us her true potential. What Fiona Brings to the Table: -Work Drive for Days - She LOVES her ball, will launch into the air to catch it, and never seems to tire. -Athletic & Fast - Think Ferrari with fur. Every question must be answered, and it must be signed.-Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.-You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.-Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!).
