Roxy was found as a stray. Unfortunately, her owner never registered the microchip for sweet this sweet girl. She was unable to find her way home. This mix breed ( smooth collie/mountain cur, basenji) is am active girl with a wonderful combination of beauty and brains. A fenced yard is recommended. She has a natural curiosity and is eager to please. Roxy enjoys canine pals and adores humans, toys and treats. Like any girl, Roxy loves her spa days and enjoys her car rides. Roxy will be receiving basic obedience training with our enrichment team. Could Roxy be your lucky charm? Roxy weighs 63 pounds, has been vet checked, spayed, up to date on vaccines and on heartworm and flea prevention. Adoption fee is $235 cash. Pets are seen by appointment. Now that he’s settled, his true personality is shining through for all to see. Indy Rex is one happy lad. According to his foster dad, he is “chill,” aside from the occasional case of the zoomies when one of the foster dogs initiates play. Afterward, Indy Rex happily goes back to lying down and watching his foster dad. If Dad leaves the room, Indy Rex is usually right behind him. Indy Rex prefers being inside to outside, but when it’s time for some fresh air, he enjoys watching the birds and squirrels and exploring his surroundings. His love language is definitely physical contact. He really enjoys butt scratches, pets and snuggles! When his foster dad settles into his recliner, Rex likes to climb halfway onto his lap, rest his head on his shoulder and soak up all the rumples and affection he craves. Rex knows no strangers; they are all just people who haven’t had a chance to pet him yet. He enjoys playing with his foster dog brothers and is easy to motivate when learning commands because he is eager to please his person. Rex simply loves life!   One of Indy Rex’s cutest habits is carrying around one of his foster dad’s shoes in his mouth. It’s as though he just can’t get enough of being with his person, so he takes a shoe along with him. Don’t worry though — he never chews it! In fact, Indy Rex hasn’t chewed anything except his food, so he hasn’t needed to be crated. If you think Indy Rex sounds too good to be true, come meet this wonderful lad for yourself. She gets along well with the resident dogs, happily wagging her tail to let them know she’s ready to engage. She’s also calm with cats and children. Although Chica enjoys other dogs, her favorite companions are her people. She’s wisely a little reserved with strangers, but once she gets to know you, she’s happy to cuddle and be petted. Chica enjoys the outdoors, quickly taking care of “business” before exploring the yard or going after a toy when it’s thrown and she’s told to “get it.” Not all collies play with toys, and even fewer play fetch, but Chica loves it! She also understands “go potty” and “go to crate.” Chica is easygoing and quiet. Even at the age of 8, she’ll surprise you with a delightful burst of zoomies, perhaps just her way of showing us all how happy she is to be alive and spending time with her humans and her canine friends. He can be a bit skittish at first and is fearful of new things and loud noises, but he’s easily distracted with treats and gentle pets. Myles loves being around his people, yet he’s also perfectly content spending time on his own with a favorite chew toy. He likes to sleep in his crate at night and will often choose it as his go-to spot for a daytime nap. While he prefers romping around in a yard over going for walks, he has good leash and car manners when needed. His routine is flexible and he isn’t opposed to sleeping in now and then. He plays well with other dogs and is only a little whiny around cats. Myles may get a bit vocal if he’s startled or feels he’s missing out on attention, but he’s still young and has already made great progress in building confidence with his foster. With a little time and reassurance, Myles has blossomed into a loving, fun companion who’s ready to find his perfect home. I hope you will consider adopting me.
