Story
Hi! PARMIGIANA here! But you can call me Parmi for short!I am a sweet, friendly 6 month old pup that loves being with people, playing outside with people and friendly dogs. A nice yard to play in would be perfect! I am learning to walk on a leash and I can be a tad strong for a pup;) I am treat motivated so a little more training on the leash and I should be your best walking/run buddy. The rescue people aren't real sure of my breed, but there's an app for that! The Dog Scanner app has Cattledog, beagle, Carolina Dog, JRT and more so I guess you could call me a Super Mutt. Whatever I am, I'm a cutie!!!I am a confident pup and very friendly. I love exploring, being with people, toys and treats. I take treats very gently. After play time, I love to relax with my people. Oh, and I know the sit command! I am looking forward to learning a bunch more!I cant wait to find my forever family. Wont you please consider adding me to your family? I am a real fun pup!Yours (I hope),PARMIGIANA / PARMI***As long as our dogs are on the website they are available. Applications can be found at CanineCollective.org*** Note: Without a DNA test or direct information about the parents, the breed listed is based on our best guess or from the use of breed identification apps

Story
Collins is a stunning 36 lbs blue heeler. No, we haven't done a DNA test but it's pretty obvious he is a heeler. Collins is a little over 1 year old and is a very sweet boy who is all agog at the activity at the kennel. He is quite people friendly and seems good with dogs too. He was abit scared at the vet but settles down with some soft pets and good brave boy. He is pretty good on the leash and rides in the car ok. If you would like to meet this very handsome boy, apply at www.caninecollective.org

Story
Roo is a friendly two year old 43 lb dog with a stumpy tail. It's about half the size of a traditional tail but its all natural. We think he has some cattledog, but without a DNA test who knows? We do know Roo is 100% lovable.Roo loves to give kisses and get pets. And a nice scratch. This good boy was a star at the vet's and made everyone fall in love. He's great with strangers and walks well on the leash. He seems fine with dogs. And oh that tail. Did we mention his great smile? If you're interested in Roo, apply at www.caninecollective.org.

Story
Whisper is just the sweetest spotted lady around. She is great with other dogs, both large and small, a mature lady of 40 lbs, 6-8 years old, still full of energy, but past all the puppy behavior. No household accidents, chewing, or whining. She is content to spend the afternoon playing in the yard, chilling in her crate (door open or closed), or snuggling up to you on the couch. She is good with either a dog door or with asking to be let out. She loves to play with other dogs, not so much with toys. She loves treats and loves to eat but is not food aggressive. She’s learning to leave her foster sister’s dish alone. On a leash, she is learning not to pull. Due to her history, she does get nervous around roads, but she loves to ride in the car!  Give Whisper a little attention, and she’s wiggling all over the place. She does not jump up and does not get on the furniture. She has been trained to sit, but it’s so hard to sit when someone is loving on you! In person she looks like an Aussie, the vet put blue heeler and we’ve had apps and friends say setter mix. So who really knows?? And who cares; she’s a good girl either way! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   May 8, 2024, 10:36 pm
