Roxy was found as a stray. Unfortunately, her owner never registered the microchip for sweet this sweet girl. She was unable to find her way home. This mix breed ( smooth collie/mountain cur, basenji) is am active girl with a wonderful combination of beauty and brains. A fenced yard is recommended. She has a natural curiosity and is eager to please. Roxy enjoys canine pals and adores humans, toys and treats. Like any girl, Roxy loves her spa days and enjoys her car rides. Roxy will be receiving basic obedience training with our enrichment team. Could Roxy be your lucky charm? Roxy weighs 63 pounds, has been vet checked, spayed, up to date on vaccines and on heartworm and flea prevention. Adoption fee is $235 cash. Pets are seen by appointment. Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Meet Gunner! Gunner is a lovable 5-year-old and he has quickly proven himself to be the ultimate “in-your-pocket” companion. This affectionate boy absolutely adores lap snuggles and treats — and he hasn’t missed a meal yet!  Gunner is wonderfully gentle with other animals. Cats are his friends — he’ll give them a curious sniff but never chases or bothers them. On his foster’s farm, he’s perfectly content watching and sniffing chickens, ducks, and turkeys without harming them. He’s also respectful around horses. He’s not your typical herd dog; he won’t try to move them, though he may give a bark from the fence just to say hello. He’s not much of a runner, but he enjoys leisurely walks and does well on a harness. Gunner is on the heavier side, so regular strolls and a healthy routine will help keep him feeling his best. A small yard suits him just fine — he goes out to potty and comes right back in when called. Gunner loves meeting new people and greets everyone with warmth and affection. If you’re searching for a devoted, gentle, snuggly companion who simply wants to be by your side, Gunner is ready to fill that role perfectly. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Meet Bright! The first time you see him you will be captivated by his smile! If you’re holding a treat he will sit, come & even stand up & beg! Bright is the size of a Kelpie with German shepherd coloring & fur. He is around 2 years old & 46 lbs. He has a very shepherd personality who’s been through professional behavior training so he’s an incredibly talented guy but still has a goofball side. Bright may be well trained but personality is personality and he’s NOT compatible with young children or small animals. We do require participation in learning his training skills to make sure he’s the right fit forever. Bright is smart, bunch and SASSY! He loves toys & will do anything for a treat but would do best with an experienced dog owner. Bright is good in a crate, loves the car & would love to be the center of your world! Apply to adopt him today!!
