She’s spayed, fully vetted, and ready for her forever home. Panda showed up as a stray at the Euless shelter after having a litter of puppies. She was emaciated and malnourished, but with lots of TLC in foster care, she’s blossoming into the happy, affectionate girl she was always meant to be. Why Panda is special:     •    Great with all people and very people-oriented     •    Smart and social with other dogs     •    House-trained and doesn’t need a kennel     •    Knows sit and takes treats gently     •    Eats well (very enthusiastically!) and is gaining healthy weight     •    Loves soft beds, cozy blankets, and sunny spots     •    Enjoys curling up next to her Lab mix foster “sister”     •    Breaks out an adorable wiggle-wag when she’s happy     •    Transitioned easily from shelter life to a home environment Panda clearly seems to have lived in a home before and thrives in a calm, loving space. While we don’t yet know how she is with cats or young children, she has shown herself to be adaptable, gentle, and eager to please. Mork came in with Mindy where they were part of a large group of dogs that were abandoned in a poor area known for stray dogs. They survived because a few people in that area fed them, and 1 lady in particular tries to help as many as she can. We took them to get them off the street and give them a better life. These are sweet dogs that just need a chance to show you their personalities and their love. Rescued dogs like this make great pets because they are so grateful. Mork is a favorite here at the rescue. We think Mork is a Retriever, and Collie or Shepherd. He did well in the car and everyone at the Vet's office fell in love with him. He can be adopted alone or with Mindy. Pinto was one of 7 pups that came to us with their Mom, Paisley. They were very fearful and unsocialized. Over time we rehabilitated 3 of his siblings and they were adopted. Pinto is now showing signs of progress and for the right home, is ready. A loving and patient home is what he needs to overcome his remaining fears but he is loving and wants to be your good boy! “Princess” just didn’t fit this rough-and-tumble little girl, so we’re calling her Cricket—and it suits her perfectly. Cricket was deliberately hit by a car in Ellis County. Thanks to excellent veterinary care and an amazing rehab foster, she’s healed beautifully and showed everyone just how resilient she is. She’s a bouncy, happy gal, and play is absolutely her love language. She’s under a year old and tiny but mighty—we call her a “pocket heeler.” Cricket is ready for a home of her own with patience, kindness, and a little extra TLC as she continues to thrive. If you’re looking for a spirited, joyful pup who’s ready to love hard and play harder, Cricket might be your girl. Cherie is approximately 9-10 months old, weighs just shy of 50 lbs. and has a silky single coat that makes her a breeze to groom.
