Story
Pinto was one of 7 pups that came to us with their Mom, Paisley. They were very fearful and unsocialized. Over time we rehabilitated 3 of his siblings and they were adopted. Pinto is now showing signs of progress and for the right home, is ready. A loving and patient home is what he needs to overcome his remaining fears but he is loving and wants to be your good boy! He's beautiful and the only one that looks like a Collie mix.If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Mork came in with Mindy where they were part of a large group of dogs that were abandoned in a poor area known for stray dogs. They survived because a few people in that area fed them, and 1 lady in particular tries to help as many as she can. We took them to get them off the street and give them a better life. These are sweet dogs that just need a chance to show you their personalities and their love. Rescued dogs like this make great pets because they are so grateful. Mork is a favorite here at the rescue. We think Mork is a Retriever, and Collie or Shepherd. He did well in the car and everyone at the Vet's office fell in love with him. He can be adopted alone or with Mindy. Mork is well mannered and hopes you will be his forever home.If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Meet Zola! This gorgeous 47-pound, long-haired shepherd has so much quiet charm and personality once you get to know her. Don’t let her age fool you - this girl is active and playful. She loves to spend her days keeping the area squirrel free while on a long walks, and her evenings relaxing, sticking close to her humans. Zola isn’t the type to demand attention right away—she prefers to build trust at her own pace. She’s a sensitive girl who will simply remove herself from situations that make her uncomfortable, so a patient home that understands her boundaries will help her truly shine. She’s spent time around her foster family's young nephews and did just fine but kids aren't her favorite. She prefers the company of other dogs—especially large dogs or even confident small dogs. She can also live with confident cats who won’t run from her, as she does have a high prey drive and will chase if something takes off. If her animal friends stand their ground, she’s happy to coexist peacefully. Zola absolutely LOVES being outside. Whether she’s wandering the yard or heading out on a walk, that’s her happy place. On leash, she has a bit of a quirky zig-zag style—she doesn’t pull, just explores the world in her own unique way. And when it comes to playtime? She’s all in. Tug is her favorite, and she’ll proudly bring you her toys to get the game started. It’s adorable and one of the many ways she shows her affectionate side. Zola is looking for a home that will give her time, respect, and love—and in return, you’ll get a loyal, playful, and beautifully unique companion. If you’re the kind of person who understands that the best relationships are built on trust, Zola might just be your girl!   To meet Zola in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. Story
Coal was a little lost puppy who was hit by a car and left for dead. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan found him, got him help, and brought him to Flying B. For the first time, Coal is learning what safety, kindness, and love feel like. It’s obvious he had a rough start. He’s still a little unsure of people and tends to hang back and watch. But Coal is incredibly observant. He watches the other pups getting attention, cuddling with people, and having fun—and he’s slowly figuring out that maybe humans aren’t so scary after all. And lately, we’re starting to see glimpses of the puppy he was meant to be. His playful, joyful side is peeking out more and more, especially when he thinks no one is watching. Coal doesn’t need someone to “fix” him. He just needs someone willing to show him, patiently and consistently, that life can be good. We can’t wait to watch this little guy learn how to be a puppy. Story
Sugar is exactly what her name suggests—sweet, happy, and impossible not to love. This bouncy girl is always up for a little shenanigans with her dog friends and has never met a stranger. A true social butterfly, she’s happiest when she’s part of the action. She’s great on a leash, rides well in the car, and is both crate and house trained, making her an easy addition to just about any home. Sugar loves attention, especially from kids, and will happily soak up all the pets and cuddles she can get. With her playful spirit and affectionate nature, Sugar would thrive with an active family that wants a loyal companion for adventures, playtime, and snuggles at the end of the day. She’s left a difficult past behind and is ready to focus on what comes next: a lifetime of fun and love.
