Meet Willow!Hi there! My name is Willow, and I'm a sweet and playful four-year-old dog. I absolutely love being around kids, and I'm known for being great with them. Although I can be a bit skittish around men when we first meet, I quickly warm up and become playful once I feel comfortable.I have excellent house manners, which means I know how to behave well inside. I never beg for food, and you won't hear me barking unnecessarily. At night, I love to sleep at the foot of my fosters's bed, keeping them company and providing them with warmth and comfort.Sometimes, when my foster leaves, I may scratch at the door. However, with a bit of training and adjustment, this behavior will improve over time. Is someone missing me? I am an adult Collie mix that weighs approx. 50lbs. I was found off Country Club in Heath on 4/24/24. No collar or tags. I will be on stray hold for 7 days while RAC staff attempts to locate my owners.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. Mork and Mindy were part of a large group of dogs that were abandoned in a poor area known for stray dogs. They survived because a few people in that area fed them, and 1 lady in particular tries to help as many as she can. We took them to get them off the street and give them a better life. These are sweet dogs that just need a chance to show you their personalities and their love. Rescued dogs like this make great pets because they are so grateful. The Simpson family came to Flying B when their owners moved and left the adult dogs. Jessica had her puppies under the neighbor's shed and the whole family was rescued when the puppies were a few days old. Jessica has nursed the puppies to their chunky monkey weight and everyone is healthy. She is house broken and just as gentle as they come. She will greet you with a toothy smile - see the photo, that's not growly, it's her smile at seeing you!
