Story
Riley is eight months old and 25 pounds. She is exceptionally playful and enjoys the company of children. She has a fondness for walks, frozen carrots, chasing bubbles, and swimming. While she loves playing in water, she is not particularly fond of baths which is hilarious. Riley is also affectionate and loves to cuddle. She will happily accompany you to every room! Furthermore, she will sit beside you while you are doing homework or even watch television with you. Playing fetch is also one of her favorite activities! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Riley III, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
Meet Max 🐾 Max is a handsome 5-year-old, 60-pound Shepherd/Kelpie mix looking for the right person to call his own. He’s had a loving home for the past year, but unfortunately finds himself in need of a new beginning. Max has put in the work — he’s spent weeks training with certified trainers and it shows. He walks beautifully on a leash and truly enjoys getting out for daily walks. One of his absolute favorite things? Water! Max loves to swim and would thrive with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. He can be a little timid at first, especially around men and young children, but with patience and consistency, he warms up and becomes incredibly loyal and affectionate. Because of this, Max would do best in a home without young children. Add his first home from the age of the puppy to four years old, he was the ESA dog for a teenager. Max is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his person — offering not just companionship, but a sense of comfort and protection. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who will be by your side for walks, adventures, and quiet evenings alike, Max may be your perfect match. Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet Darcey!   We would love to introduce our beautiful 37-pound Border Collie/Husky mix who is ready to find her forever home! This stunning girl has the most gorgeous blue eyes and a sweet, loving personality to match. She is potty trained and kennel trained, making her an easy addition to any home. She walks nicely on a leash, knows her basic commands, and is incredibly smart — she learns new things quickly and loves to please.  One of her favorite things is to chase balls.  She can do it all day long.  Although she enjoys playtime, she  also knows how to relax and chill with her people. She is friendly with some dogs, but prefers to be an only dog. Because of her playful nature, she would do best in a home with children over 8 years old. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and ready to become a wonderful family dog or loyal companion. If you’re interested in giving this stunning girl the loving home she deserves, please reach to steffeniegaprescue@gmail.comApril 18, 2026, 11:05 pm

Story
Quill was one of 7 pups born to a stray mother on a rural ranch on Valentine's day of 2024. This friendly fellow was the only tan dog in the litter. He is one of 4 boys and 5 remaining pups left looking for homes. Quill is good with kids (has been around older ones, but would likely do okay with small ones) and has been around other dogs of both genders without issue. He is learning to walk on a leash, but mainly stays close to the ranch shop without issue. He crates okay when needed and will stay well in a secure fence. Quill has a fairly laid back personality. He enjoys treats and playing with his siblings. Got a home for this handsome boy?

These pups are in Ennis, Texas too!

Story
Nacli was picked up off a job site in late August. Efforts were made to locate an owner, but with no microchip, identification, or anyone coming forward, it appears she had been abandoned. She has since been fully vetted — up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention and flea/tick medication, spayed, microchipped, and had DNA and health testing completed. Through that testing, we learned she is fully deaf and partially blind. Nacli is incredibly sweet and social. She does wonderfully with babies, children, and adults, and she gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, chickens, and even goats. She has a gentle, adaptable nature and truly enjoys being part of the action. She is mostly kennel trained and will also come with several harnesses, including a clearly labeled “deaf and partially blind” harness and leash. Because of her deafness and partial vision loss, we are seeking a home experienced with deaf dogs or one committed to learning how to best support her unique needs. With patience and consistency, she will thrive. Nacli is located in Midlothian, TX, and we are willing to coordinate transport for the right home. If you have questions about Nacli or would like to learn more, please reach out. She deserves a safe, patient, and loving family where she can truly shine. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.
