Although I can be a bit skittish around men when we first meet, I quickly warm up and become playful once I feel comfortable.I have excellent house manners, which means I know how to behave well inside. I never beg for food, and you won't hear me barking unnecessarily. At night, I love to sleep at the foot of my fosters's bed, keeping them company and providing them with warmth and comfort.Sometimes, when my foster leaves, I may scratch at the door. However, with a bit of training and adjustment, this behavior will improve over time. Is someone missing me? I am an adult Collie mix that weighs approx. 50lbs. I was found off Country Club in Heath on 4/24/24. No collar or tags. I will be on stray hold for 7 days while RAC staff attempts to locate my owners.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Our 2YO Shrek is a bit shy. Staff volunteers say he`s unsure at first but warms up shortly after. And boy does he come out of his shell! During playtime volunteers say Shrek likes to play seek--then targets (sort of hide/seek/catch/run). Shrek has been observed as waiting for other doggos to chase him then he runs. He`s a kid at heart we say..... all boy. Shrek needs someone to keep up with his energy. He likes to run and play.
