Story
Meet Willow!Hi there! My name is Willow, and I'm a sweet and playful four-year-old dog. I absolutely love being around kids, and I'm known for being great with them. Although I can be a bit skittish around men when we first meet, I quickly warm up and become playful once I feel comfortable.I have excellent house manners, which means I know how to behave well inside. I never beg for food, and you won't hear me barking unnecessarily. At night, I love to sleep at the foot of my fosters's bed, keeping them company and providing them with warmth and comfort.Sometimes, when my foster leaves, I may scratch at the door. However, with a bit of training and adjustment, this behavior will improve over time. It could be a good idea to consider using a crate or kennel to help me feel secure and comfortable when I'm alone.Overall, I'm a really nice dog, and I would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loving and loyal furry friend. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
We adopted Max when he was roughly 8 weeks old, from a Aussie rescue service in Dallas that had found him and his brother on the side of the road. He is 9 years old and will be 10 in February, he is fully up to date on immunizations, flea and tick, etc. He is a very gentle and mellow dog who loves to cuddle, he is great with kids and other pets, and has never show any aggression to any adult, children, or other animals. He is very loved by our family, but we are going through some significant life events, and we will not be able to bring him with us. He will do best with someone who has a yard that he can play in, he likes to play fetch and tug of war.

Story
Fifi was adopted from a local shelter as an Emotional Support Dog.  She was a young college student and eventually didn't want a dog and was going to return her to the shelter where she would have been put down immediately..  So a kind person took her and now we want to find her a forever home.  She is a sweetheart.  She weighs about 75 lbs and 4 years old.  She is great with Dogs, cats and children..She is completely potty trained and does not need to be crated for any reason.  She is great on a leash and stays by you if off leash.  She likes to go on short walks  and LOVES a big yard to roam in,  She is a bit shy at first and may hide, but quickly adjusts as time goes on. She is a dream of a dog. ##2189294##

Story
Meet Noah! Noah is a 2-year-old, male, Collie/Heeler mix weighing 42 lbs. He was originally found on HWY 276 in Rockwall County on 11/11/2023 and brought to the shelter on 11/13/2023. Sadly, his owners never reclaimed him. So now, he is looking for his new fur ever home! Noah is a sweet and playful boy. He walks well on a leash, loves his soft blankets and toys. He does well with kids, but has a bouncy nature and needs to be in a home with older children. His not good with cats or smaller dogs. Noah is good with some dogs, but he likes to be the leader of the pack. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is suggested to ensure they get along prior to adoption. Noah has been a shelter resident for 323days as of 10/01/24 and is a Diamond Dog. Noah's adoption fee is $75. He is neutered, current on his rabies vaccination, boosters to date, microchipped and heartworm negative. Story
We got Astro almost a year ago where he was found in the side of the highway looking for a home. We got him cleaned up and let him join our family for a time! He is the sweetest boy but we knew we couldn’t care for him long term with very busy schedules and two young children. Astros love sunbathing, car rides, playing with kids and people, and naps on the couch. He is house trained and know general commands. He is a great pup to join any family.
