Story
Rad was abandon as a puppy about 3 months old. He was under nourished and full of fleas. We picked him and got him medical care by a licensed veterinarian. My son tried to work with him but Rad does best with women. We think he might of been handled harshly by a man. Rad is about 11 months. He is much better being around men. Rad is house trained. He lets me know when he wants to go out by going to the door or coming up to me until I figure out what he wants. Rad is very loving. He really enjoys petting and being brushed. He does have that puppy behavior but is learning. He knows what kind of behavior will earn him a treat. He is playful and gets along with my and friends dogs. Rad would do well with a big yard, another dog to play with and older children. He is perfect for a owner who can give him lots of love and attention. I can not afford to own two dogs. I hope you will prayerfully think about homing Rad. Sincerely, Hopeful

Story
Meet Willow!Hi there! My name is Willow, and I`m a sweet and playful four-year-old dog. I absolutely love being around kids, and I`m known for being great with them. Although I can be a bit skittish around men when we first meet, I quickly warm up and become playful once I feel comfortable.I have excellent house manners, which means I know how to behave well inside. I never beg for food, and you won`t hear me barking unnecessarily. At night, I love to sleep at the foot of my fosters`s bed, keeping them company and providing them with warmth and comfort.Sometimes, when my foster leaves, I may scratch at the door. However, with a bit of training and adjustment, this behavior will improve over time. It could be a good idea to consider using a crate or kennel to help me feel secure and comfortable when I`m alone.Overall, I`m a really nice dog, and I would make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loving and loyal furry friend. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

If Roscoe had been in High School, he would have been Mr. Congeniality and probably Valedictorian too. He has a huge personality, loves people and knows no stranger and is very smart on top of that. What more can you ask for! This young man is an all around super star. Why he found himself without a home is a mystery, but we will certainly make sure we will find him the best one ever for the rest of his life. Can it be yours? Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive.
