1 year old Neutered male 45 lbs. Medium/high energy level Potty trained Knows "sit" and "paw" Seems to like other dogs Can live with kids of all ages Cannot live with rabbits or other small animals Looking for an active adopter I'm a 1 year old mixed breed boy who may be part Cattle Dog or other herding breed. I am very smart and have an affectionate and playful personality. I have a super sweet disposition and adore being petted and cuddled. I'm also potty trained and very food motivated. I have lots of playful energy so daily exercise is a must for me, and I'm best suited for an active individual or family. I know the commands for "sit" and "paw" and I hope my adopter teaches me more! I love other dogs and enjoy running and playing with them at the dog park. While I do love other dogs, I cannot live with rabbits or other small animals. I'm approved for families with respectful children of all ages and am looking for an adopter who can commit to me for the rest of my life. If you're ready to make me part of your family, I'm ready to be the best dog you'll ever love! NOTE: Mochi loves other dogs but cannot live with rabbits or other small animals.   Check out my video at https://youtube.com/shorts/d3qdg0FMU_g The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.June 1, 2023, 8:34 pm

Story
Bowie is a mini Australian Shepherd mix. He is a high energy, sweet and loving dog. He loves his snuggles!! He loves to catch ball! He is a working dog and needs someone who has the time to spend with him to keep him busy. He wants to please his owner. He currently lives with 2 small dogs and a cat that he grew up with and gets along well with. He loves to play. We are not sure how he would do with other strange animals since he has not been regularly socialized with other animals. He does well with older children. He is a high energy dog that requires a lot of attention that we do not have time to give him. He is such a smart dog that is willing to learn. We are hoping to find the right person who will have the time to do this.

Hello, friends. Conan here, and I love to cuddle!!! I LOVE people and I LOVE attention. I would be so happy to have a person of my own so that we can exchange hugs, kisses, and pets every single day. Having an older, social dog would probably help me learn how to be a great dog and help me settle into my new home successfully. However, kiddos don't really understand my level of excitement, so it would be best for me to be in an adult home or a home where kids are teens plus. HEY! We could go to training classes together! That would be something fun for us to do, amiright? Come on in so we can make plans for our future.Medical History: I appear to be a healthy pup but it is always a good idea to set up an appointment with your own veterinarian post adoption.Weight: ~28lbsAdoption Fee: $475 + taxIf you'd like to meet me, click the "Learn About the Adoption Process" button below to plan a visit to the shelter!
