I adopted this sweet boy about 3 1/2 years ago, he is approximately 7. I had to move and it is just very hard to afford keeping him comfortable (dog walkers/pet insurance/vet/prevention/food, etc) as a single income household. Before we moved, I lived at my family home, he had a yard with an invisible fence that he respected and did not try to test/escape. People were around that could do potty breaks and he was overall adjusted well to be home alone. Now we are in a smaller space with dogs kind of off leash in our area so I've had to drive us elsewhere to do walks before/after work. He's selectively social but treat motivated. He responds very well to the vibration (not shot/static) corrective collar during walks if he needs redirection. I wish I could write more here Pros: protective, doesn't destroy furniture/doors, calm, not much vocal, couch potato Cons: counter surfer, separation anxiety (Impact dog crate would come with him, but does well loose in the house)

Puppy Jack is a handsome 4 1/2 month old Coonhound mix puppy looking for a family to help him blossom. Surrendered by his owner, this boy is very nervous upon meeting new people right now. He is a jumper and/or climber and will need a fully enclosed 6-foot fenced yard (not a chainlink fence, though). He will need a patient owner who has lots of time to spend with him while he learns the essentials. He’ll flourish with plenty of playtime, exercise, mental stimulation, socialization and love while he learns.Jack is up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, microchipped and will be neutered upon adoption .
