Puppy Jack is a handsome 4 1/2 month old Coonhound mix puppy looking for a family to help him blossom. Surrendered by his owner, this boy is very nervous upon meeting new people right now. He is a jumper and/or climber and will need a fully enclosed 6-foot fenced yard (not a chainlink fence, though). He will need a patient owner who has lots of time to spend with him while he learns the essentials. He’ll flourish with plenty of playtime, exercise, mental stimulation, socialization and love while he learns.Jack is up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, microchipped and will be neutered upon adoption . He is currently at our Freeport location. Howdy Doody, wonderful people in the Northeast! I am a very handsome Coonhound mix with a heart of gold! I am about 2 years old, weigh 46 lbs, and, in typical Texas style, I was dumped on the street with 2 other dogs in Bulverde, Texas. It was awful… the police and a bunch of people were trying to round us all up, and the other 2 dogs were running in different directions, but I was the easiest, and the first one to be captured, immediately landing a wonderful foster home. These days, I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, happy, healthy, and ready to be someone's forever dog! I am a sweet, happy, friendly boy, a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly. I’m a great playmate with my dog buddies, enjoying playtime or a good game of tug-of-war with anyone, whether human or dog. I am food motivated, love treats, dog toys, and being around my people. I’m affectionate and will share kisses. I love going for walks, runs, road trips in the car, or any fun outing with the family. I am well-behaved and good in a home, already housebroken, only bark to alert you, and I don't guard my food or toys. I’m good in a crate, not scared of thunderstorms, and at bedtime, I’m sleeping on a dog couch with some of the other foster dogs. Yep, my foster parents say I’m a lovable, good-natured boy who will make anyone proud to call me their own, a total keeper for sure! Inquire about me today! Meet Dione! Dione is a 3.5 month, 18-lb (as of 1/25) hound mix with a huge personality packed into a bouncy little body. She’s a goofy, happy-go-lucky puppy with two favorite modes: wildly enthusiastic playtime and serious, melt-into-you snuggles—and she does both exceptionally well. Dione is energetic, playful, and endlessly curious. She loves toys (and almost always has one in her mouth), plays beautifully with other dogs, and adores her foster dog siblings. She’s also met a cat and is very intrigued—she just hasn’t quite learned yet that cats aren’t dogs 😄 She’s comfortable with people, affectionate, and not shy at all. While city noises can still make her a little nervous, she enjoys spending time in the yard and continues to gain confidence.
