Story
I'm Twilight, a cuddly 3 year old Corgi on a quest to find my forever home or a caring foster family to shower me with love in the meantime. I weigh in at 21 pounds and am full of sweetness and charm. With my affectionate personality, I'm a real people-pleaser who adores spending time with both humans and other dogs alike. As I eagerly await the opportunity to join a loving family, I'm excited about the adventures and companionship that lie ahead. If you're ready to open your home to a lovable Corgi companion like me, please fill out an application right away. I’m more than ready to meet you! Twilight is available for adoption but is also in need of a foster home. To Adopt (or foster-to-adopt), please complete the adoption application here: https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application To Foster, please complete the foster application here: https://anewchancear.org/foster/fostering-application/ Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Ellie's spirit is as lively as ever, and she's ready to embark on a journey towards health and happiness with a family who will support her every step of the way. She enjoys going for walks, playing with toys, and spending quality time with her favorite humans. With the right diet and exercise plan, Ellie will be well on her way to reaching her ideal weight in no time! She would do best in a household that is committed to helping her lead a healthy and active lifestyle. She's looking for a family who will support her every step of the way and provide her with the love and encouragement she needs to succeed. Story
Alfie is a sweet little Chihuahua/Corgi mix. He was surrendered by his family because they were moving. He has been in the shelter, but he has found a foster home for now. He would make a great addition to any family. He prefers women to men. He is not a barker. He is shy initially but then he loves to cuddle and he is a sweet, sweet boy. He loves his food. He is in a foster home with other senior dogs and special needs dogs and he is doing wonderful. He cuddles with the fosters . He goes outside to the potty in their fenced in yard. When inquiring about him please complete our application so we can give you more info on him. Thank you. he also has became close with one of the other little dogs so you might want to adopt two his little sidekick, but not necessary like I said we will connect you with the foster and she will tell you all about them. Thank you. strayheartsrescue@outlook.com https://forms.gle/suhbpui9RXiVmvoJ9 -
