Story
Bubbles is a sweet and petite 4 year old, 19 pound Corgi girl. Bubbles spent much of her life being used as a mama in a puppy mill, so the world outside that environment is still very new and a little scary to her. She is understandably very nervous, and she will need a patient family who understands that trust takes time. Her new family should be prepared to give her the space and reassurance she needs to slowly come out of her shell. One thing Bubbles does know is that she really likes other dogs! Having a confident canine friend may help her feel more comfortable as she learns the ropes of being a beloved pet. And while she may not have discovered her bubbly personality just yet, we know it’s in there somewhere. With time, patience, and lots of love, we think this little mama might finally get the chance to grow into her name. Bubbles isn’t looking for a perfect home—she’s looking for a quiet, loving home willing to let her blossom at her own pace. Watching her discover happiness and confidence will be incredibly rewarding. We all can’t wait for Bubbles to be bubbly!! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Peter Feeter is a precious 6 month old purebred Corgi. This guy is the best of the breed - silly, sweet, and brave. He loves other dogs, kids, and all of the farm animals at his foster home. With his adorably floppy ears, he will instantly melt your heart. Peter loves to be pet and cuddled and is absolutely precious when he snoozes on his back with his little legs in the air.He is crate trained, housetrained if kept on a schedule, and working on his basic commands. This cutie is a true gem of a boy! He adores other dogs and would love a home with a canine companion and a yard to romp and play in. Story
Foxy is a wonderful 6.5-year-old Corgi/Shiba Inu mix who is looking for her forever home. Weighing 39 pounds, Foxy is a beautiful and incredibly intelligent dog with a loving personality that shines once she builds trust. Foxy thrives on daily exercise, enjoying walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. She is house-trained and knows basic commands. Her favorite things include playing fetch, chewing on her toys, and relaxing with her licky pad. Foxy would do best in a calm, structured home with an owner experienced in handling reactive dogs. She can be wary of new people and other dogs, but with patience, consistency, and understanding, she quickly opens up to reveal her goofy and affectionate nature. Story
Little Sophie 💔 We believe Sophie to be a Corgi mix, approximately 2–3 years old (age is just a guess). She came from a hoarding situation in Texas and is currently in foster in Danbury, CT. Sophie is very shy and will need a home that understands she needs time and patience to come out of her shell. She is not a dog that will adjust overnight—she needs someone willing to let her decompress and feel safe at her own pace. A quiet, non-hectic home is a must for Sophie. She would do best in a calm environment where she can slowly build confidence. She is good with dogs and cats. If you have the heart and patience to help this sweet girl blossom, please apply below: https://www.trinafriendsk9rescue.org/new-page #adoptdontshop #rescuedog #corgimix #shydog #fosteringsaveslives #adoptme #dogrescue #northeastadopters #northeastfosters #secondchance #rescueismyfavoritebreed #danburyct #texastonewengland

Story
Meet Tonka! With his charming low-rider build, perky ears, and a big, goofy tongue that is almost always happily hanging out, Tonka is impossible not to love. At around eight months old and 40 pounds, Tonka looks like a delightful mix of Corgi and Basset Hound—built low and long, with enough puppy enthusiasm and charm to light up any room. He is making the journey all the way from Mountain City, Tennessee to Eleventh Hour Rescue in New Jersey in search of his forever family. Tonka is an absolute sweetheart who is great with other dogs and loves kids. He has also been cat tested and, with proper, thoughtful introductions, would most likely do just fine sharing a home with feline companions. Because he is an energetic youngster, an active household that enjoys daily walks, yard playtime, and fun adventures will be the perfect match for his playful spirit. Tonka is neutered, up to date on all of his core vaccines, and heartworm negative. If you are looking for a fun, affectionate, low-to-the-ground buddy ready to roll right into your heart, Tonka is your guy. Visit www.ehrdogs.org to submit an application and bring him home! Story
Coco is a sweet girl who will steal your heart once she gets to know you...just look at that smile! She will take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she will be your best friend forever. Coco loves belly rubs, snuggles, playtime in the yard, playing fetch and going for walks. Coco finds city living a little too hectic, and is not suited for apartment living. She will do well in an adult only home...a house with a fenced in yard. She is a little snobby and can be dog selective when it cones to choosing canine buddies. Coco would appreciate a dedicated, enthusiastic companion who will work on building her trust, and she will return that love and trust twofold.Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturdays 11:30-1:30. If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application directly to our website at www.ny-petrescue.org. Only applications submitted directly to Petrescue will be considered.
