Story
Chico bean comes from PA and has been a part of our family for 5 years. He is a sweet boy, coming from a loving home the past 5 years Chico is house trained, low maintenance, and well behaved in a home with no children or pets. He loves people but is not fond of smaller children who grab and don’t know how to be around him. Chico only gets along with small dogs, does not like to share food or toys, and would be best in a home with fur-parents who are not expecting new babies anytime soon and if they have children they are old enough to understand Chicos quirks & behaviors. He is reactive to possessions like food and toys if you do not handle him right. He is a great dog, just misunderstood and is no longer the best fit for our families home.

Story
Hello everyone! I’m Freddy—a 9-year-old Corgi with a soft soul and a heart that’s learning how to trust again. I weigh about 30 pounds (okay, maybe a few extra treats found their way to me), but I’m ready to work on getting healthy with someone by my side. I might be a little scared when we first meet, but if you give me time and kindness, you’ll see just how special I am. People who get to know me say I’m an absolute doll. I love the quiet moments—soft voices, gentle pets, and warm places to rest. I also get along well with other dogs.  I’m hoping for a forever home where I can go at my own pace and feel safe every step of the way. If you’re patient, loving, and looking for a sweet, gentle girl to grow old with, I think I would be a perfect addition to your family! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
I’m Lola Mae—a 7-year-old Corgi with short legs, a big heart, and even bigger dreams of finding my forever home. I currently weigh around 45 pounds, which is a little more than I should, but with some gentle walks and healthy snacks, I’m ready to slim down and feel my best. Don’t worry—I still waddle like a pro on the leash and love getting outside to sniff the flowers and greet friendly faces. I’m the sweetest, gentlest girl you’ll ever meet. If you sit down near me, I’ll be right there, pressing into your side and soaking up all the affection I can. My favorite place is anywhere close to you. All I want is to be someone’s loyal shadow and cuddle buddy for life. If you’re looking for a calm, loving soul to fill your home with warmth, I think we’d be a perfect match. I’ve got so much love to give—you just have to open your heart and make a little space on the couch. Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 Meet Tree 🌳 Tree gave birth to #AdogsEunhaeng and littermates in an auto repair shop. The kind staff fed her and her puppies, but after Eunhaeng was injured in a car accident, Adogs rescued her urgently. While Eunhaeng was adopted abroad, Tree ended up in a shelter. She was later rescued and is now being cared for at our center. * With People: Shows avoidance behavior when approached but exposes her belly and seeks attention when being petted. Wags her tail and bunts her head, asking to be petted. * With Dogs: Plays better with male dogs than female dogs. May occasionally show irritability toward similarly sized female dogs. Needs some time to be accustomed to new dogs. * Separation Anxiety: Does not exhibit separation anxiety and spends time alone comfortably. * Potty Training: Uses outdoor pottying only since she stays in a group at our center. * Hygiene: Is not yet fully comfortable with baths and nail trimming but is gradually getting used to them through practice. * Walks: Is not fully accustomed to walks yet but is slowly being introduced to them. * Car Sickness: Didn't get car sick during the short ride. ❗ Health Condition❗ * Spayed. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative upon request.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 Meet Thunder⚡ 💙 Adogs Update Account: @_adogs_everyday 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered: Not yet. * Others: Microchipped and getting heartworm treatment. * Successfully underwent abdominal fluid removal surgery and is now in recovery. Requires continued care and monitoring until he regains full health. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Thunder was staying at the Gimje Shelter. He loved people and greeted everyone with a wagging tail there. Despite his cheerful nature, his health was deteriorating. He had severe abdominal swelling due to fluid retention, and the harsh winter, along with the risk of infectious diseases, made his condition even more dangerous. Seeing his urgent need for medical attention, Adogs rescued him just in time to get the care he desperately needed. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Adores people! Wags his tail excitedly and enjoys being petted. Loves warmth and affection of people, often rubbing against them like a cat to show his love! * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs generally. Enjoys observing his dog friends rather than actively playing with them. Has a few favorite playmates with whom he interacts more! * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides with other dogs at our center. * Potty Training: Is good at using potty pads as well as outdoor potty. * Walks: Is a pro walker without pulling on the leash. * Car Sickness: Rides well in a car without car sickness.
