Meet April...... Sweet April is a 5 month old spayed female Corgi / Heeler or Cattle mix. She came from a high kill shelter in Mississippi. The story was she came from a hoarding house. April is very sweet, loves to be around people. She is getting along great with the other dogs in foster. She weighs around 10 pounds and will stay under 25 pounds at full growth. She is doing fantastic learning outdoor potty training. April will be an awesome addition to any family. We were told by the landlord and neighbor that their mother was a corgi. They were born in January 2022.  AJ has the long corgi body and the short chunky legs but the coloring of a Doberman. She has a bouncy personality and loves to play. She's very smart and learns very quickly. She  does well with other dogs but does want to play and chase cats and chickens. Frodo is an older gentleman who is looking for a family of his own. He is a 10 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi mix and he would much rather be at home lounging on the couch with you than sitting in a kennel at a shelter in Texas. Frodo is already neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on his vaccines. He currently weighs about 27 pounds. Frodo appears to have a deformed tail and he will be having surgery to amputate most of it. He also has a grade 2 out of 6 heart murmur as well as some benign cysts on his skin. Frodo has now been rescued by NorthStar & will be making his way to NJ to find his forever home. Meet Charles. He was picked up as a stray and no one ever claimed him. This little bundle of playful energy is also gentle and very sweet. He walks well on a leash and is absolutely adorable. Charles loves people and is quite the "ladies man" as he gets along well with the female dogs. We do not know what he thinks of cats. Charles is about 1 years old and 32 pounds. Kitty gets along well with dogs. She lived with her foster mom and other dogs. One dog was sorting out and she was a bit aggressive, but Kitty wasn't aggressive at all. Kitty likes people. But it takes a while for her to get used to it. She's basically a quiet and cautious dog, as she's not a dog with high energy levels. Treat children like adults Her relationship with cat is similar to her current relationship with the dogs around her. She's basically a dog that understands sit, wait, no. She likes to walk a lot, but she's a bit stubborn, so she tends to just sit and stay if there's a spot she wants. There is a slight imbalance in the muscles on one side of the leg. I was diagnosed at the hospital, but the doctor said it was not enough to treat it yet. Her doctor said she may have had a nutritional imbalance when she was puppy.
