Story
Fox enjoys companionship and does best with someone who can spend plenty of time with him. He has not been successfully house-trained and currently needs to wear diapers while indoors. With our busy schedule and young children, we are unable to provide the level of attention and consistency that Fox needs. We are hoping to find a patient and caring person or family who can give him the love, time, and support he deserves. We would love to find him the right forever home.

Story
**MIA** A friend in California rescued Mia after her previous owner abandoned her and her sister at a groomer. Mia is a 5-year-old female Dorgi, a mix of Corgi and Dachshund. She is intelligent, protective, loving, and independent. Trusting new people may take her a few days, but treats can help. Once comfortable, Mia loves belly rubs, playing with her toys, chewing on her split Elk antler, and running around the yard. She has a great personality and is incredibly loyal to her favorite human. Mia does not require constant attention and is happy to sit and chew on her antler while her owner works. However, when it's time for affection, she will put down her antler to enjoy quality time with her human. Mia's need for a loving owner will inspire compassion and care in anyone who meets her. What Mia Needs: Mia needs a home without children or small animals, as she prefers to be the only pet. She loves attention and requires someone to provide her with plenty of love and care. Additionally, she needs a fenced yard for potty breaks and walks. Keeping her on a healthy, canine-specific diet to ensure her well-being is essential and reflects your commitment and responsibility as an owner. We will offer comprehensive guidance on how to care for her. Most importantly, Mia needs a loving person dedicated to keeping her forever and will never abandon her again. MIA is very protective and needs proper introductions with new people, as she will try to protect her human and her home (it's a trait of the corgi-dachshund if not kept well socialized). Once she meets new people and sees them consistently, she makes friends. I will guide you in proper introductions. Mia needs a small animal and a child-free home. She does prefer women and will excel as a companion to a single woman who wants a loyal and protective one. Mia is a watchdog and will aggressively protect you and the home if a stranger comes to the door. How Can You Meet Mia? To meet Mia, please use the link provided to apply. One of our volunteers will review your application, contact you to answer any questions, and determine whether you are a good match for Mia.  Mia has transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble and follows a healthy, canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters about proper diet and nutrition.  There is a $350.00 adoption fee to adopt Mia. All funds will be used to cover her medical care and to help rescue more dogs in need   www.smallpupsrescue.org  July 9, 2026, 3:15 pm

Story
Meet Harley! This chubby little girl is the most adorable girl you will ever meet. She likes spending time with you, she loves playing with the ball but she prefers time by your side more. When I say she's really adorable, it's because she is! She plays with other dogs, small, medium or large, she lives with cats although sometimes she usually runs after them to play (And cats that are not used to dogs don't like that) Potty trained with potty pads, crate trained, and good with adults and children. With strangers she is usually sociable, she is a very curious, loyal dog, and ready to play with you and receive cuddles at all times. She loves to give you kisses on the face, give you her paw to play with and she will always receive you from work with a huge smile. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
Meet Angus, an adorable 1½-year-old low-rider with the cutest little legs, a long body, and enough charm to make anyone smile. Between his little white "sock" paws, expressive brown eyes, and his perfectly mismatched ears—one standing tall while the other flops over—he has a face that's impossible not to love. Angus may be little, but he's got a heart that's full of quiet devotion. He takes a little time getting to know new people, but that's part of what makes him so special. Once you've earned your spot in his inner circle, he'll be your loyal sidekick through everything. He's the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with his family, happily snuggling up beside the people he trusts most and reminding you every day just how loved you are. Watch Angus in action in his video! https://youtu.be/a3j-aeldmVo?si=HepidxTbxoVWYD27 His absolute favorite part of the day? Walk time! The second his leash comes out, Angus can barely contain his excitement. He breaks into the cutest little happy circles, spinning with anticipation before heading out on his next adventure. Whether it's a quiet stroll through the neighborhood, a hike on a nature trail, or simply sniffing every interesting smell along the way, Angus is happiest with the wind in his face and his favorite person holding the other end of the leash. Best of all, he's a wonderful walking buddy who stays right with you and has lovely leash manners. When he's home, Angus enjoys the simple things in life. A comfy bed, a tasty treat, a few cuddles from his favorite humans, and a peaceful place to relax are all it takes to make this sweet boy happy. He's very treat motivated, eager to learn, and would love continuing his training with a family who enjoys spending time together. Angus is currently fostered with other dogs and gets along wonderfully with them. While he enjoys having canine companions around, he's more of a laid-back observer than the rough-and-tumble type. He's happy to join the fun when the mood strikes but is just as content relaxing nearby. We haven't had the opportunity to introduce Angus to cats yet, but we're happy to test him if your family includes a feline friend. He also hasn't met children, though because he takes a little time warming up to new people, we think he'd do best with older, respectful kids who understand that friendships sometimes take a little patience. A home with a fenced yard would be Angus' dream. He loves being outside, exploring new smells, stretching his little legs, and soaking up the fresh air. While he enjoys relaxing indoors with his family, he'd be happiest in a home where adventures are part of everyday life. Angus isn't looking for everyone. He's looking for his person. Someone who understands that the very best friendships aren't always instant—they're built on trust, patience, and love. And once you've earned his heart, you'll have a loyal best friend who will happily follow you on every walk, curl up beside you every evening, and love you with everything he's got. Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Rosie! Rosie is a 2-year-old, 22 lb Corgi/French Bulldog mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This adorable girl is packed with personality and ready to find a forever home that appreciates her charm and sass! Rosie is sweet, spunky, goofy, and full of character. She has a confident, sassy side and isn't afraid to let the world know what she thinks. She loves being with her people whether she's joining you on walks, exploring new places, or snuggling up on the couch after a busy day, Rosie is all about spending time with her favorite humans. Rosie does well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. She knows how to set firm boundaries and can be a little bossy at times, but she generally gets along well with other dogs who respect her space and personality. She could thrive in a home with another well-matched dog or do just as well as an only dog, provided she continues to get regular socialization. She would do best in a home without cats. This fun-loving girl is ready for a family that will embrace her quirky nature, keep her active and engaged, and give her all the love she deserves. If you're looking for a sweet, sassy sidekick with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Rosie might just be your perfect match! Rosie is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.
