Auggie is 5 yr old 35 lb Retriever Corgi mix. He is a timid at first with new people, but very friendly/affectionate once he knows you.. He loves nice calm humans and dogs his size to play with. He will do best with calm recently active retired /middle aged couple that like to walk and want a single or second dog at the home for companionship. He is an indoor dog and is crate trained. He likes walks and dog beds. He will require some dog training. Will require a securely fenced yard. No apartments! Calm /kind kids over 16 years of age please. No cats. This darling baby boy is now a little over 12wks old and he’s ready for his own forever home. He is a very outgoing, friendly little guy so he’d do best in a socially active home. He is also very affectionate so lots of cuddle time is required. He currently weighs approx 13lbs or so, and should be about 20lbs or so when full grown. Typical of the husky breed, he can be a very active puppy and he’s always up for an adventure. A fenced yard would be best. He is also very smart boy that learns quickly whatever it is you’re trying to teach him, so continued training games are a must. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes so another playmate in the home would be great, but it’s not required. He gets along with kitties, too. Because of his age and activity level, kids must be over 10yrs old. A dog experienced home is required.

***PLEASE READ PRIOR TO APPLYING*** It is with a heavy heart that I will need to find a new home for my beloved Maple. She is 12 and I adopted her just a little over 2 years ago from an owner that had other dogs. Maple wants to be the only dog in the house. Unfortunately my company has required I go back to the office and I just don't see how its fair for Maple to be alone by herself for 10-12 hours a day Additionally, I will be moving to a smaller home and want Maple to have more room to explore. She deserves the best and to live the rest of her life with someone that can love on her all day long. She started getting a lump on her back but my vet says its a Hygroma which is nothing serious and will need occasional draining. Surgery is an option but not necessary. The condition is not painful or affects her mobility. I would love to find a new owner that has experience in owning a Corgi but most importantly someone that can take very good care of her.
